Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

I'm not playing SC very much bar an hour here and there between other games (Odyssey included)...Waiting for 3.14 PTU or for @Intrepid3D to spill da beans on the ETF builds :D

Mrs Mole was airlifted to the local hospital day before yesterday too so I went in on the ferry to see her... since there's no limits on visiting times or duration up here...spent a lovely couple of hours hugging my wife, did the both of us the world of good since we haven't seen eachother for 6 weeks or so :)

Good to hear Mole. Send her our best wishes.

Or as you might put it: Those damn ijits on the forums were askin after yer 'ealth.

LOL
"Pet projects like EVE"
That's the 2nd biggest MMO ever, just behind WoW. "Pet project", the delusion is really intense with that one.
Also "It's more than the game, it's the tech" -> yeah, no kidding, no one has even dared to publish such rubbish code. Again, the reality check is not even a thing with cultists, they are too fare gone..
not really surprising. When you have internal justifications and variable reality perception that allow you to see Star Citizen as the second coming you ll naturally have a rather....twisted view on established truths and reality.

I'm only telling you what's already been leaked :p I think its ok to tell you if we have it, its being assessed, right now.

Nice to see you were able to hold Mrs Mole for a while. All the best to her, and you.

I was a bit apprehensive about posting the personal stuff on here...anonymous internet and all that...but seriously guys, with me not doing the social media thing, this forum is truly blessed as being a place where, when needs must, you can sometimes bare a little bit of your soul and feel rewarded for doing it. I honestly can't thank you all enough for the kind words, the much needed mental distraction and for spending a few minutes of your time in my life :)

Since Mrs Mole is recovering, I won't trouble you much more with such personal anecdotes...bar the one from today which almost broke my heart. During a lengthy conversation with her doctor in hospital today when he went on about my wife's sheer strength and will to live...7 major operations, 3 heart attacks and 5 resuscitation's during theatre, she said something that had both myself and the medical professionals in tears.

"I sat by his bed for a year after the army almost delivered him back to me in a body bag. I watched him die twice during that time. I wasn't about to put him through watching me do the same."

You can love someone so much sometimes that it hurts...the strength of that woman has me in awe.

I'm off for some much needed sleep...Mole out. :)

Wow, that is so darn sweet. All my best to you and Mrs. Mole. ♥

I don't ever hear much good news these days, but its the little things like this that keep me going. Happy for you both Cmdr. Every second we have is precious...

Since it's the SC thread, I try to include SC content in each post :)

Hopefully an evocati build happens today so we get some info.
