Since I bought my newest refinery with 4 bins, I get the message "Refinery communication to server failed, fragments requires reallocation"

C8305E15CAA4DA1957BD7F8115EEFE46A53DE5D0

Is it related to my module or everyone are also getting this error?

I think the devs need to see this, looks like the server code doesn't handle this item correctly.

I am surprised about the ingame notification. Kinda cool way to display a game error this way.

When I restarted my game, my refinery bins got emptied and I could refine my minerals again.

My bins were supposed to be emptied when I bought my new refinery module but it didn't. I'm gonna raise a ticket about it.

I just tried the alpha for Evolve on the XB1 - can't connect to that either :) endless spinning red circle of fun!

Mind if i ask for you to pm me a an alpha key in case you have one extra lying around? I did register for the alpha 5 or so days ago through that curse client promotion but i am yet to receive a key. Its for a PC client though so maybe they are yet to send them out... haven't been following the game that close. Would love to try it, tho!

I'm perfectly aware of Wireshark and it's capabilities, was using it when it was Ethereal, it's an overkill for this...

What ISP are you with and what package? And what should I check on my router settings, I'm connected and have no problems with any other downloads?

Yeah, I already tried switching to my telkom account, same situation. I wonder if you guys in CT get a different IP range.

As far as I can see, the download rate is capped at a convenient 64KB/s, peaking at 128KB/s.

Anyway, this smells of throttling, either by Amazon or two local ISPs (yet dependent on city), would be nice to have an alternative download option.

I am on Telkom as prevously stated, do Premium Plus, 10 mbps, for the router settings not home now, will check tonight, dude you need to get on, it is just better and better :)

I'm gonna pretend I don't know what VPN is for this discussion, too much work ATM as I don't have a EU or US VPN profile lying around.

If it's any consolation I'm in the UK on a 100-150MB connection and have had the issue since the beta came out (mostly downloading days after other people anyway due to time constraints). People keep trying to claim it's my issue or offering explanations of things I have tried myself (and many other people in that login/launcher issues thread have the same problem). All this evidence that there is an issue either with the launcher itself or with the download infrastructure and everyone keeps blaming the user.

Going with Occams Razor, if I can download using Steam at 15MB/sec and other services fine and it takes such a long time to download Elite, then the issue is either with the launcher itself (Frontiers problem) or with the infrastructure (Although it's hosted at Amazon it's also Frontiers problem to sort out since they're the ones paying for it).

They've had months to sort this out or offer something like combined HTTP/BitTorrent options ala Blizzard and haven't, it's starting to become a joke. i've just taken to leaving my machine downloading overnight knowing that it's going to take hours to download.

Check your firewall and if you use an antivirus product that has a web shield make sure that isn't interfering too. Something is blocking the connection.
