I have a weird issue where Elite is drawing more GPU resources when I am tabbed out, it's hard to gauge, but the Temps go from about 85degrees while the application is focused, but when I tab out the temps go straight up past 90degrees.

There are some very bizarre frame rate issues where my FPS is going up to 120fps while I am tabbed out, but as soon as I tab back to Elite it drops to 15-30fps.

Is anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: This is in the main menu, not while I am in game. However the GPU is still getting battered and the performance is really struggling. I am by a Guardian Ruin if that helps at all.

If I'm going back to desktop I'll routinely switch to the Map screen to reduce the load on my GPU and bring the temps down.

Obviously not an option if it's happening in the Main Menu, but fortunately we don't usually spend that much time there.

I see people getting connection errors, but my game is stuck in "Loading game" eternally without even the chance of getting a connection error. FeelsBadMan

I know, as a career criminal, Anonymous Access is pretty much the norm in 'honest' systems... BuT I'm getting it everywhere, even in my local Anarchy system.

Sadly, for once, I'm clean... no bounties or notoriety to brag about

Any word on Smear Campaigns? I know it's been said they are in the game but as I say "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". I find it an extraordinary claim they are in the game as I can find no evidence of anyone finding them.!

They are in Raxxla, cause as you most likely know it is in the game too.

Hello Sally,

thanks a lot for keeping us up to date. Did not open a ticket for this particular issue yet and couldn't find an already opened one. Did a few AX conflict zones in a wing of 2 players in the Pleiades within the last days and we never actually got to finish/win the conflict zone because despite having a full progression bar, it doesn't resolve or continue in any way. We managed to spot an invisible and invincible scout that was not properly instanced on either client and the friendly human NPCs kept shooting a target that simply wasn't there apart from the Signal, basically.

Would be amazing if you could ask about this, please. Also seems to be a network related problem because when attempting these solo, this particular problem seemingly doesn't exist even though admittedly, I didn't do much of those zones on my own just yet.

Thanks millions for taking the time on this kind of feedback here! I am going to be a pain in the noggin though and ask if it can go in a ticket - you can even message it to me. It really helps me keep track of things amidst the masses of awesome conversation. I don't want to lose them. They're too precious!

A very positive list of fixes that show FDev are listening to some of the complaints and feedback.

Not withstanding how broken it all is still these updates are slowly catching up.

I really do hope it doesn't peter off till we have a truly solid experience.

Can I play on foot with friends in a CZ and have everyone leave together without anyone dropping connection, someone getting stuck in a different instance, and having to take a cab ride back.
