...shame the rest of the game was meh.
I got 30ish hours into the game and literally forgot about it. Didn't realized until months later when I saw something about FO4.

That was an awesome moment - shame the rest of the game was meh.
You basically finished it then. Rest of the game was just more of the same.I got 30ish hours into the game and literally forgot about it. Didn't realized until months later when I saw something about FO4.Still haven't booted it up again.
That's a major YES for FNV.Speaking of backlog... I've had fallout 3 and fallout new vegas for years and never really bothered to play them (picked them up on some super cheap sale). I've heard new vegas in particular is great. Should I play that once I'm done with Subnautica below zero?
Awesome - I'll queue that upThat's a major YES for FNV.

I liked them both. FO3 is more mad max, NV is less (you have major factions and a big war).Speaking of backlog... New Vegas melted 2 graphics cards for me. Play at your own risk.Speaking of backlog... Agreed they are vastly superior to FO 4 in term of story and RPG. Every build have unique dialogues and ways to solve quests.New Vegas melted 2 graphics cards for me. Play at your own risk.
Seriously though, if you've got them, play them. There's no stupid base-building stuff in them and the story and vibe are good.
I'm old so the graphics will likely be fine for meNew Vegas is tremendous. I loved that game. I'm not sure it's aged well (looks great upscaled though).I

I credit FO4 for saving me from Fallout 76 - if it had been an awesome game I'd have probably been suckered into it.Agreed they are vastly superior to FO 4 in term of story and RPG. Every build have unique dialogues and ways to solve quests.
Didn't you heard, another settlement need your help !Obligatory - 'Degenerates like you belong on a cross'
Bethesda in a nutshell. They started small company with big dream, and then turned into money making factory.I credit FO4 for saving me from Fallout 76 - if it had been an awesome game I'd have probably been suckered into it.
I see a lot of ED in the Fallout arc
Started off great, big coherent vision, but ended up losing its identity by adding cookie-cutter features that were clearly bolted-on just to appeal to a player demographic, until eventually it becomes a bug-riddled laughingstock.
SHAUUUUUUN !Key to FO4: toss the terrible plot and mod to taste. Armorsmith Extended and Anti Tank Rifle are awesome.
