Speaking of backlog... I've had fallout 3 and fallout new vegas for years and never really bothered to play them (picked them up on some super cheap sale). I've heard new vegas in particular is great. Should I play that once I'm done with Subnautica below zero?

New Vegas melted 2 graphics cards for me. Play at your own risk.

Seriously though, if you've got them, play them. There's no stupid base-building stuff in them and the story and vibe are good.

Agreed they are vastly superior to FO 4 in term of story and RPG. Every build have unique dialogues and ways to solve quests.

New Vegas is tremendous. I loved that game. I'm not sure it's aged well (looks great upscaled though).I

I'm old so the graphics will likely be fine for me

I mean I've played PC games on monochrome and CGA.

I'm mostly about gameplay. Like I love rimworld and that has potato graphics.

F:NV has great characters, wonderful setting, and graphics that really haven’t aged well. Definitely worth a play.

Currently playing the epilogue in Red Dead Redemption 2. That game is... well... it’s gonna be tough going back to any other RPG after playing with Arthur Morgan. Stunning.

I credit FO4 for saving me from Fallout 76 - if it had been an awesome game I'd have probably been suckered into it.

Bethesda in a nutshell. They started small company with big dream, and then turned into money making factory.
Morrowind was awesome, oblivion to. Then they made the first DLCs (thanks bethesda). Then dumbed down everything for Skyrim. Still decent enough, but need mods to actually be good.
Fallout 3 was good but limited in gameplay. NV was not bethesda, fallout 4 was dumbed down in every aspect but with the addition of some Fallout 3-NV mods turned into features.

I really like it actually.

I finally gave up on my friends repeatedly telling me for the past 4 or 5 years that I should play the Witcher 3. So I'm playing that for the first time and absolutely loving it. I never wanted to play it because of the combat system but I realise now I was wrong.

I keep thinking about trying out the Witcher 3; sounds like I should install it

Also, I was thoroughly inconvenienced by people wanting me to do actual work on a Friday, so I missed out on about 2000 posts What did I miss?
