What is an animal that you really want but you're not sure is making it?

I think the Ratel is hated because the they don't fear the Lion, the most overused, popular, fan favorite animal in the world, that's why people hate the Ratel, Gemsbok and Sable Antelope, because they don't fear lions.
I don’t think that’s why. I think people just don’t think of them first when it comes to the vast amount of animals in Africa. I love them though and need them and Fossa on my game!

Most of the South American animals at this point, since it missed its animal pack opportunity. 🤷‍♂️
Yeah, for me there's a number of central/south American animals that I was really hoping for (capybara, coati, armadillo, peccary, various new world monkeys) that aren't looking very likely in the game right now.

Since they probably won't be doing another South American pack, I'm hoping for a "Zoo Classics" pack that might allow for the capybara and some new world monkeys. Or a "Small Mammal" pack.

Aquatic pack had 3 south american animals(Dwarf caiman, giant otter, king penguin)

I'm not hugely confident of getting a Japanese serow although there have been some quirky additions. I can at least hope. Maybe an islands pack, a north east Asia pack, a random mix pack, a mountain pack?

I was thinking about the possibility of a greater Asia pack because of the wild horse and all other wanted Asian species still left to add in the game. Maybe there??

There's a chance they'll just do an "Asia Pack" like they did with Africa, a standard 4+1+180 DLC. Personally I doubt it, since the Southeast Asia Animal Pack seems to be their way of wrapping up Asia for the most part, but I also didn't expect them to do a standard Africa Pack before the leaks came (I thought we'd see the animals in the pack, but as part of other themes).

At this point it seems likely that they will do a standard DLC for every continent (not Antarctica).

Until now I speculated the plan was to do this only for the continents without a building set dedicated to them in the base game.

Africa was probably the last continent I expected to see a general pack for. I am not surprised by the animals finding their way into the game, but was expecting more biome, region or 'creative' DLCs from now on.

Since that wasn't the case, it seems likely by now that they will cover every continent like this. Asia might be the most questionable one, because of the SEA pack and the fact that we already got 2 building sets for this continent.

They'll throw us through a massive loop and do an Asia Pack with a Southeast Asian-themed building set. 😂
At this point I wouldn't even be surprised.

With SEA themed scenery pieces for mainland Asian animals, leaving us with those random scenery pieces for the actual SEA species.

(Please Frontier read this as a joke, not a piece of inspiration 😉)

The Roloway or Diana Monkey.
I would love a smaller monkey from africa and these ones check all the boxes for me:
Their looks are stunning, they are a more or less common species in zoos (diana atleast are), they carry the enviromental message and would be a great fit for africa houses.
The Problem i see is, that other similar monkeys will proppably be chosen over them.
