Why nobody thanks Frontier for the recent patch? For the 1st time they LISTENED TO US and made changes that we actually asked! So: THANK YOU FRONTIER

I mean, they've implemented quite a few changes in the UI that are exactly what we asked for and what most people (including myself) complained about. Why don't I see anyone saying that it is nice? I mean, they deserve the praise!

Yesterday, I wanted rank 3 in powerplay, so i filled 480 cargo twice with things. Most of them cost 100k for 10 items, which is fine. Flying around is fine.

But I had to click "buy", click quantity-up TEN times, and then confirm. FORTY-EIGHT TIMES IN A ROW. No gameplay, just clicking away on the UI because they obviously suck at UI.

Can you tell me what modules your ships have from the Ship management screen?

I do not grind either, I just want at a bare minimum the game to be as advertised. I do not like people making assumptions about what I do nor do I like thinly veiled condescension, thank you. People are annoyed because they are invested in the game and are experiencing a lot of issues with something that they paid for and expected to be a wonderful expansion to the game rather than something that has broken their game and feel let down by

Yes it does. My post is: thanks to devs for upgradeing given what we complained about. All you you here are insulting me without even haveing checked the new upgrade and these impovements. That is my whole point: peopl complain but they don't make any effort to verify things, they complain first. The engineering is there since upgrade 2 or 3, but nobody noticed. Mostly it's because we knew they were doing those fixes, and they are fixes only needed because they broke something that didn't need fixing

No, it’s you who insulted me for “not knowing how to use the UI” when all this information was removed by FDev beforehand and simply was not available.

And I will not praise someone who deliberately downgrades their own product just to “fix it” with updates later.

And your question about launch just proves one more time that you didn't get my whole point: I'm thanking them for improvements made in UPGRADE 5, not for the issues with beta 1 in 2015. Got it this time?

It's really bad. I suggest making a macro with voice attack. No need for the "voice" part. Of all the part in dire need of a new UI, they didn't change that.

Perhaps now that it is “fixed”. We definitely didn’t get more information when Odyssey rolled out.
And the whole idea of the OP was to praise FDev for fixing something they broke in the first place.

They didn't break anything: they innovated, they tried their best to improve it. They made mistakes, yep, people complained, they fixed it. I totally agree some things were absurd and gave me the feeling that these people neever played the game, because they would not have done it that way provindong that they had played it even once. I'm still puzzled by some decisions they made. But now, the UI is better than in Horizons. Sincerely, you will see for yourself.

I know they are very bad at listening and communicating... But I love the game, so I play the game even if it is not perfect. Have you noticed the agressivity out there? Negativity arounfd the game is something I resent: if they don't like it, they can quit.

Why are you so negative then? Resenting (or ask to leave if not enjoying it) people that doesnt have the same opinions, not feelings, towards the game its not the half full glass of joy that odyssey is, as you try to present it. I mean i Love the game, but what they've pulled with odyssey its everything that can be worse in gaming industry today.

- hyping something that even in alpha wasnt great going - check
- presenting vids that arent same with what game is actually release with - check ( in game footage and all that stuff)
- taking peoples money, and then blocking the refunds even if the product is no match for the advertise - check
- faulty and misleading communications with playerbase - check
- after selling a full product, advertised like it was you feel that 4 updates of fixing stuff and then this huge update 5 FULL OF BUGFIXES is normal and " thank you" worth. They are the ones who should have added in the end : "we are sorry these fixes didnt make it in release version that we totally rushed out". And The list can go on, and will go on, given the last so called dev post.
