Crash GPU with Odyssey Update 5 (gtx 1080)

After i made a fresh install of windows 10 and elite dangerous i get a crash of my GPU (gtx 1080 driver 471.11) each time i would switch in fullscreen mode in odyssey update 5 (3840x2160p)

if it works at lower resolutions then I would assume your monitor /gtx output is not stable enough at that hi res and cant handel it
that is purley speculation on my part mind you
try deleting the gpuworktable.xml to ensure it aint a cach bug else I dunno?
bearing in mind the game gfx are not optimized yet and wont be till console release or thereabouts apprently

Seems everyone with a gtx1080 cant run odyssey at high rez.

as the game is not "gpu optimized until console release" squeezing what you can get may be your only option inc lowering res I would assume
to get it somewhere near playable
