I shan't point out what Devs do or don't do, nor what constitutes a Dev and a tealady, but like our dear Misha, I must say that you are very close to being topical, if not on topic.

This kind of disdain for the forums, and the personal hatred you are showing towards our beloved thread, is simply not acceptable.

There is only one surefire way to absolve yourself of these sins, and that is to post a cat picture as your penance. Be very careful though, the closer it is to a cat, the less well received it will be - and I am giving you this piece of insider knowledge, as I think this is your first infraction within these walls.

Read between the lines young paddywagon, and make amends for your impulsive decision to go too close to the topic. You must master your fears of the unknown, and control your rage, or else you will never fully discover the power of the weirdo side of the force. Also known as fitting in here with us crazy judo masters.

Well if they'd re-done all the ship models for Horizons rather than slapping a free "Planetary Landing Suite" module in and saying "Job done ✔" we'd still be waiting on Engineers.

Oh, wait, you've got a valid point. I shall write an open letter demanding a rollback to 1.whatever until they fix this.

Side note:
When they eventually get around to meaningful atmospheres and 100 mph crosswinds you'll get to be offended by the lateral thrusters too 👍

one could imagine that "planetary landing suite" was some kind of modification to directional thrusters that massively enhance output when opposing gravity. So no need to graphically create new assets attached to the ship.

Just make the thruster effect significantlly larger and different based on them having a component of gravity impacting the direction of their thrust.

side note:

If that ever happens, they can do the same thing for "Heavy Planetary landing Suite" for dense atmospheres. Allowing the effect to exist in opposition of wind forces.

The planetary landing suite is just a tank full of helium - the extra buoyancy makes you float.
