State of the Game

I know she is safe from the heathens thanks to Lord Brebus Holy Gamma ! Should she fall, she'll be made a Power Play character, forever immortal !

While the Lord Braben's Gamma is a formidable power of protection from sight. it cannot hold up against the positivity of NMS playerbase. Nor the infinite reality distortion field of star citizen.

so long as Brabenism is fractured. It's true power can never be harnessed.

The Void will consume all ... like it has thru time.

After today's new from the almighty breaks, I'm going to buy a console, just so that I can be outraged about the delay, and lack of roadmap for the console version
For the love of god, just make sure you get a next gen console so you can be outraged about the delay, lack of roadmap, AND the fact that they're focusing on backwards compatibility rather than your shiny new unobtanium.

Well, I learned one thing from "The Forward Thread".
Brabenism is blooming.

I've noticed his name being Lord Brebus and Lord Braben in a couple of threads too - I think we are creating a beautiful cult here guys!

We had sensational news today.

Bottom Hat is offering his stuphs to haz!

Check the wording carefully young man - I said borrow, but I didn't mention the terms of the loan, namely one item of stuphs per day as interest payments ;)

Just don't tell him about it, else my new stuphs acquisition tactic may face delays!

And the Lord Brebus did speak.
'Thy pathway has now been changed. Instead of moving to the darkness of St Peter of Sony IV and St William Gates of Microsoft I, thy followers will devote more time to the church of the Computer Personal".
And the crowd did cheer but asked 'Lord Brebus, when whilst thou release thine Odyssey on t'other platforms?'.
And the Lord Brebus did speak 'When t'is less buggered'.
And the crowd did cheer.

All Hail Lord Brebus.

And so it was written in the Holy Roadmap in the early 3300's. A promise that resulted in a violent revolt less than 6 months later when it became clear that their Lord couldn't deliver a solution that pleased existing followers. Marking the beginning of the Unfulfilled Period of the 3300's and the end of the followers of the Holy Roadmap.

We know you're just trying to get his stuphs out from under BH's nose. We saw your posts in the other thread for stuphs.

The Thread Sees All.
Hey - yer man had eleventy squintllion credits, fifty of every ship in the game, fully engineered, and over a hundred fleet carriers all genuinely earned for really reals in his trillion hours of playing the game.

Plenty of stuphs to go round.

only a slight exaggeration given the current "get rich quick " not-exploit-exploit of using your alt accounts you got for free thanks to Fdev and a fleet carrier to mission stack trade type missions on all your accounts simultaneously and wing up and then jump directly to the stations and turn in. Then repeat the same process. (having already acquired the mission objective commodity and stocked the fleet carrier with it)

making a billion credits an hour.

fdev is in a funny spot. They were too quiet .... but now they've decided to address the playerbase after the loonies have made their open letters and demands for respect and now those people feel empowered.

every post reads like some kind of text message between high schoolers who are dating but are currently broken up and trying to get back together.

it's pathetic.

Open letters work man - once they started using my template...

I'm very grateful to Lord Brebus for promising to include some of the features that were supposed to be in the next DLC (you know, the one they were expecting to be working on after Odyssey was released in Q1 2021) in the patches for the current disaster.

People were doing that off "the egg" even without Fleet Carriers. Amazing that the people screaming blue murder about the bugs in Odyssey (and yes, there were many!) had absolutely zero problems with the ones that allowed get rich quick schemes.

Someone worked out that he'd (if his claim of 15,000 hours in game was true) played 7 hours a day, every day, since launch. There's another thread that popped up where a guy is claiming he started in March of last year and has almost 3,000 hours. Again, over 7 hours a day, EVERY day. Same ones complaining that Frontier have swindled them with a dodgy game. I mean, its not like they've not gotten their money's worth!

Even worse, they then say that they cannot recommend the game. A game they devoted their lives to for 6 years... They can't recommend it. It makes me chuckle.
