Big Elite Streamers Giving Up On Streaming Elite?

In general it's not a bad idea to not have "my game can beat up your game" discussions anyway. If people like this or that game, good for them! There are plenty of space games now, and there is at least one for everyone's taste. Each game has their own community where they can enjoy sharing stories about their preferred game. I for one am not going to another community to evangelize EDO; everyone knows all these games exist so we can all make up our own mind.

There's a General Gaming Discussion forum for those type of discussions!

Bottom Hat is running a school where you can learn all of his deep tricks, for a price of course. Have to give him a few of your Stuffz to be allowed to attend!
@Bottom Hat did a cameo on Thor Ragnarok, which make him canon in the MCU.

Fdev in the future , Do you remember when we brought out Odyssey ??? you know the one that we told everyone that it was an upgrade and we had 100 Dev working on it for a few years ....... ???? You know where we put the CM's in the firing line so they took all the flack and then we blamed it on the content creators who are leaving and being negative , and then gave control of the forums to the Mods (joking here no need to ban) and they all took it and we walked away without a bleamish ..... (much guffawing around the table ) ahhhh those were the days .

So since update five came out, and several of the content creators in question seemed to change tack and embrace the salt (or "give the community what they want" in content creator parlance) and focus on Star Citizen instead (don't forget to use my referral code!), I notice each and every one of them has had a substantial bump (15-20%) in subscribers, while at the same time still covering Elite in the sense that they're creating a video a week (or so) basically saying that Frontier are evil, and the game is (still) dead.

Jumping to another game automatically means you need more subscribers; many of your old ones might be too lazy to unsubscribe but your views drop. Getting a 15-20% increase is a good starting point, so good for them.

Beyond that, an ED streamer going to SC while talking the evils of FD is like me writing a book about finding God when uni no longer pays my bill. There is a very nice market for that kind of message as it feels like 'double validation' to some. I wouldn't wish it on anyone though, professionally streaming SC is brutal. There is a reason why the biggest one dropped SC the second his contract ran out and he could sign a new contract for a game that is more tolerable to play on a daily basis...

Its a rough life, being a streamer drifing from game to game. :)
