Is anyone excusing his harassment of calling a bunch of people gullible idiots?

Surely you can't mean responding to being called a gullible idiot is harassment?

Making a single generalised comment is not harrassment. Harrassment requires repetitive attacks.

Spamming hateful stuff across a bunch of articles solely because the author wrote them is not appropriate at all.

If an author on the guardian news website has a crappy opinion of something I am into, perhaps even says something disparaging about people who are into that thing, is it appropriate to write crap over a whole bunch of their articles in retaliation? No, I would look like a child having a tantrum and lashing out.

Gullible idiot isnt really a harassment. The gullibles are out in force whenever a new hype is created and because zhe pattern repeats so often it is not far-fetched to assume a mental deficit is in play when they all preorder yet again.

I have tried building a profile from scratch. Sadly with the same results as when I import a mapping file. I'm beginning to think that it's some other variable outside of the mapping profile import process that is causing the problem. Maybe in the Game Settings or something. Either way, whatever I try (and I have been quite persistent in trying), it doesn't fix the issue with the hotas throttle.

If you like, I'll do another wipe and we can try together to build a new profile

Generally when gathering information journalists at least try to appear impartial to their interviewees, even if they have their own opinion.

The guy smelled a bit trolly, first calling backers stupid then asking them for information. Do it anonymously, or refrain from making public comments about a subject on the same account as the one asking for information on that subject.

Reaction entirely expected regardless. That the fandom is toxic is a meme at this point, no matter what the guy did.

Still waiting on a followup from BBC on their 2014, 2016 (two of them) and 2019 fluff pieces that managed to ask zero questions about the previous article's claims and missed deadlines.

The only thing that has improved in between those articles is the amount of money CIG have gathered. From 40M, to 100M then 200M in the latest one. Expect another one when they hit 400M later this year..

AI-wise, the team began closing out character wildlines and improved seating poses in the mess hall to make it look like a real cafeteria. ... A motion-capture (mo-cap) shoot was conducted to gather content needed for the work mentioned above.

They also updated various scenes in the mess hall and supporting Design with their work on chapters 12, 13, and 14. Planning for Q3 began and a two-day mo-cap session was booked for the first week of July. This will allow the team to record everything they need for the additional chapter 1 scenes and to add additional lines to many of the random-to-NPC conversations mentioned in previous reports.

I used to watch AngryJoe regularly. the he went to make more stuff I didn't find so interesting and funny and had once this interview - I think it was Toiling Shipchin. AJ started bold but Zyloh kinda went over him like a compactor verbally and AJ was like a dove for the rest of the interview. I lost a bit of respect that day. I feel many online "journalists" are kinda amateurs. Maybe the professionals kinda burned out with online media shift in publishing.

Elevators/trains work pretty well now but some bugs occurs from time to time and those bugs are blocking.
Improving the code managing elevators/trains is necessary.

Note : I don't refute the fact that harassment from some players didn't existed or don't exist anymore. I just want some datas about it.

You can have a good example, with sources and all from Canard PC. YT has some of their videos (they made online editions !) where they talk about it.
And yes, they did report that the amount of abuse received from each of their articles on SC was staggering, even paper mail with death threats, etc., with no previous record of anything like it (and they are veterans of video game journalism, dating from Joystick magazine era..). Exactly like when confronting a cult.

Some backers are so defensive they need to immediately jump to CIG's defense over even the smallest potential criticism and the ITS ALPHA card is the easiest card to play. Even when the criticism is being made by a fan and is fair.

Over the years i've seen backers, even big backers, get attacked, insulted, and dismissed for saying they didn't like something or they think CIG should change something.

This is the level of zealotry games sometimes inspire and its dumb as hell. Not just SC/CIG - although it does seem to have a higher share than normal, probably because of all the dreams CIG have sold, and when people feel their dreams are threatened, they tend to get defensive.

Just in case you didn't know who he was... as for all the other crazies and mentally unstable trolls who keep attacking journalists or random folk outside Walmart when seen wearing an Elite Dangerous T-shirt...I keep wondering, who are those people...why don't I ever meet them online...why don't I get death threats...why does nobody I've ever played Star Citizen alongside know any of these people?

The instances of these apparently random and anonymous internet crazies being paraded either on reddit or here whilst all being perfectly plausible, seems to be completely at odds with not only my experience but that of many, many others...YMMV of course...there are players of games and there are internet crazies who do nothing but rattle keyboards on t'interweb

BTW, there is no "unbiased" journalism, only journalists being aware, and being open about, their biases. "Lack of bias" is a hurtful red herring.

There is the reality of reddit and the reality of the rest of the people who do not even know what it is, while engaging in the same hobbies. Let's be honest - if you decide to discuss something on the internet, you are already more engaged than most engaged people, one way or another.
