What is an animal that you really want but you're not sure is making it?

Specific is a double edged sword.
I want more region specific ones, but none with too many similar animals in them.
The only one in that Direction that feels like it would be able to work would be a primate one, but just because they are severly lacking and many very unique primates like gibbons, loris, baboons, gennons and more then 1 new world monkey are still not in the game.
Everything else just wouldnt sell and even the fake na leak showed that people were severly turned of, eventhough they wanted every animal on its own.
Its a tricky topic and sadly the reason why some groups will either be very lacking or just very slowly Fill up over time

Yea that’s why i said if the lifespan is long. I prefer them to focus on broader packs if we have a short lifespan

I chose the white rhino awhile back in this thread. Mainly because with all the black rhino decor I thought for sure the black rhino was a shoe in for sure. So since that animal came with the Africa Pack ( thank you frontier) I’ll try for one more. I’m convinced the black rhino is still very probable to people who would have rather had that but anyway I’ll stick to the great white pelican. I’d love to see them swimming in the trailer of the pack they’d come in. Also some other very notable honorable mentions would be wolverine, African civet, secretary bird, howler monkey, and manatee just to name a few. @yoav_r I still think a Hamadryas baboon is very possible yet. For the same reason the dromedary camel still seems likely. Considering that there’s a good chance they’d be in the same pack potentially. If not I’m sure modders will get around to creating one sooner or later.

I'll second the pelican. The first time I saw it suggested I didn't think much of it, but over time the idea has appealed to me more and more. It would be a really great inclusion.

Since we already have so many:

  • Bears
  • Dogs
  • Cats

I would really really like to see more species from the forgotten and kind of neglected groups, but I’m really not sure they would ever make it:

- Pigs (only 2 in the game - would love to see Red River hog 🥰 for me it is the most amazing species ever and not seeing it in Africa pack really made me very sad).

- Horses and donkeys (only one in the game - would love to see at least 2 more Somali wild donkey and Przewalski horse. Vote for donkeys 😍).

- Deers (only one in the game and at least 4 more are needed - obvious largest Moose, water loving and extinct in the wild Père David’s deer 🦌, one of the spotted hot climate species like Persian follow deer or Axis deer [Chital] and one small species like Thailand barking muntjac).

- Monkeys 🐒 (only 3 in the game and none from Africa - I want Hamadryas baboon, De Brazza’s monkey, Mantled guereza, Howler monkey, Spider monkey, Gray langur and Lion tailed macaque).

- Procyonidae (none in the game and those guys would fit in so nicely my obvious choices are Coati, Racoon 🦝 and Kinkajou).

- Armadillos (any species would do but I prefer the Giant Armadillo or Nine banded armadillo).

- Manatees (it would be so cool to see them in the game, my local zoos has them and I can watch them for hours 🙏🏽).

- Mustelids (none in the game and I’m sure a lot of us would be more than grateful for the Wolverine and another otter).

- Badgers (none in the game - spiecies like Honey badgers and European badgers would be more than amazing).

- Fossa (I won’t even comment on that - our zoos need them badly).

- Hyenas (would love to see one more hyena - my preference are Stripped hyenas with the cutest pups ever).

- Pinnipeds (we have only one and at least 2 more could do the job - California sea lion and walrus).

- Small cats (none in the game and I would absolutely love at least 4, one from each continent: Africa - Serval, Europe and NA - any Lynx, SA - Ocelot or Jaguarundi, Asia - Caracal).

- Viverridae (we have Binturong but a ground dwelling civet like the African civet would be a dream come true).

- Rodents (we would probably get capybara and beaver eventually but I would also love to see any African or Asian porcupine and Lowland paca)

Radiated tortoise would also be an interesting addition I think. Much smaller than those we got, but still big enough to function in a habitat. It got som nice colors and a beautiful pattern on its shield.

They are critically endangered due to habitat loss, being poached for food, and being overexploited in the pet trade. Because of that there is a lot of conservation work done by zoos for this species.

Would give us something else that represents Madagascar and they can even share an enclosure with lemurs.

Only downside would be that it is another Island tortoise with similar biomes. Might be more useful with a desert species from the mainland or similar.

I always think the African spurred should have been in the base game instead of the Aldabra. Such a strange choice to have two giant tortoises, I will never understand that.
I actually appreciate the diversity and I like the two tortoises, but I'd rather we also get the african spurred.
Same thing with the chimp and the bonobo. Very similar, but I actually like the diversity and also having a cheaper alternative to a much more popular, but expensive, animal
