State of the Game

The problem with those though... and I mentioned it elsewhere...

Once you see them, its really REALLY hard to unsee them.
Yes, but there's the whole "report it and move on" process to deal with that. And of course rinse and repeat every time an update is made without the problem being addressed or FD coming out and telling us it is not a problem (because only an expert can deal with a problem, oh wait that's a Laurie Anderson song). Flooding the forum with it gets tedious, and makes others think they can flood the forum with even more tedious issues.

The overuse/shoddy tiling in game is worth bringing up, in fairness. Worth bringing up with 3-4 new threads weekly? Probably not.

At least it's more relevant than this gem:

My Colonia-based account has now finished the 'needed' suit & gun engineering and is heading back out of the bubble in his DBX tomorrow. I'm genuinely looking forward to taking around 5 days to get there, normal jumping rather than NS boosted, as I do hope that the 'meat' part of the trip - from 5KLy outside of the bubble & onward, will give me some of the new ice bodies to explore along the way.

It's Sharky's day today.... and Sharky looks up...

I been lucky to see LA quite a few times, love her music and her humour. Her work with the Chronus Quartet I thought was excellent.

I've been a fan since my dad bought Big Science on vinyl (which at the time, besides tapes, was the only choice). That was in the early-mid 80s and that record, together with Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band, got a lot of exercise while I was playing Elite on the old C64.

Haven't managed to see her live, but if she pops down under I might swing by and watch a show or two.
