Camera Suite Improvements: Update Notes

It's great to see improvements! 👏 Looks better indeed.

Question though: I didn't follow the progress of development for a while - are performance issues more or less resolved at this point?

🤤 No more annoying blacking out when trying to use the free cam in my SRV, hopefully!

Even the weather is excited, it's thundering like mad here.

I'm in Western Australia and we've had 26 days of rain out of the past 29. Another 1/4" and we're on an all-time rainfall record for July.

But that's a great excuse to ignore the garden and play Odyssey, so I'm happy.

Hehe. Winter. Cold. Our wood supplier had 16 inches of rain. can't get on the paddocks.

Yep! I've tried to say 'Elite Dangerous: Odyssey' as many times as possible throughout the post to be as clear as poss hehe.
So excited.

This is nice, is there any chance we can get the same sort of update for the bookmarks changes, more is indeed good, but that's only small bit of what needs to be done. What about various colours and icons, an icon for favourite mining sites, to mark raw material resource sites, the new bookmark interface in Odyssey is...an improvement is all I can say, but it does have some negatives.

I'll have a little think for you. As we continue to roll out more updates we can see what areas might benefit from more "zoned in" discussion (like continued polish with bookmarks) following the changes, to keep the thoughts rolling whilst sharing back possibilities.
 
How about balance tweaks for blueprints, or fiddling with techbroker stuff like shock cannons (ammo too low / synth too expensive)?

There are so many blueprints that are useless or outmoded, you could pick ten to focus on at a time after asking us what might change.

Or what about an Asp Scout rebalance?

A lot of these are changing numbers and not complex, the 'hard' part is getting the feedback.

Curious, is update 6 coming out today if these notes are refering to them and that it was mentioned as a possiblity for this week in the dev update?
 
Any announcement of the release timings for Update 6 this week (I appreciate it's Thursday already) will be officially posted in their own little "heads up it's on the way" post 🙂

I'd really love the Update 6 to happen today.
Tomorrow i'll be at a small cabin in the mountains with really crappy 3g signal only and really low d/l speeds
