Back from Extinction Pack

This rather out-there idea popped into my head while trying to think of another way to integrate an extinction-themed pack into PZ without going into the controversial route of de-extinction (which is what you thought this was from the title, eh?). Rather than truly extinct species, this pack concept focuses on so called "Lazarus taxa", species believed extinct that are later rediscovered alive. A standard pack, it includes the following species:
  1. Bridled Nailtail Wallaby (Onychogalea fraenata) - Thought extinct since 1937, rediscovered in 1973

  2. Bush Dog (Speothos venaticus) - Described from fossils in 1842, with living individuals discovered a year later. However, they were not realised to be the same species until well into the 20th century

  3. Chacoan Peccary (Catagonus wagneri) - Described from fossils in 1930, discovered alive in 1971

  4. South Island Takahē (Porphyrio hochstetteri) - Thought extinct since 1898, rediscovered in 1948
    1800

  5. Crested Gecko (Correlophus ciliatus) - Thought extinct since 1866, rediscovered in 1994

There's relatively few choices for habitat animals (especially when considering if a species is found in zoos or not, as I did) but nonetheless I did have enough to fill up a standard pack, the runner up being the Black-footed Ferret. If this was an exhibit pack things would be much easier. Also unintentionally ended up doubling as a niche South America (2 species) and Oceania (3 species) filler pack.

As for the scenery, the Back from Extinction Pack would include all sorts of signs and items themed around extinction (including pieces themed around iconic extinct species - Thylacine, Great Auk, Quagga, Passenger Pigeon, etc - just like the Dodo statue in the base game) which can be useful when decorating conservation education centres or small zoo museums. It would also come with new foliage, which like the animals would all be Lazarus taxa (eg. Wollemi Pine).
Obvious disclaimer: Not meant to be a prediction, just for fun

This would be awesome, and I's totally back this one. Unfortunately, the only ones I can think of are the following:

Coelocanth - thought to have gone extinct with the dinosaurs, one was fished up in the 30s

Pygmy elephant - they were discovered hiding in a secluded area in Borneo, I believe. Ironically, the illegal animal trade likely saved them

Coelocanth is one that wouldn't be that easy to do, even in a normal aquarium upgraded game if they'd release it. Those are extremely deep water fish if I remember right.

I actually have another suggestion for a rediscoverd wallaby, the parma wallaby.
Its one of the smallest wallaby species and actually really common in Zoos, held 93 times in the EAZA acording to zootierliste.
They live in dense hardwood forests on the east coast of australia and even managed to invade a new zealand island, were they were rediscouverd in the 1960s after being thought to be extinct on the mainland. Now they are back at being near threatend and are one of the most common marsupials in european zoos, after quite a lot of breeding efforts when they were still thought to be near extinct.

Yeah I remembered them after posting the idea, and they'd make a great replacement option for the bridled nailtail given how much more widespread they are in captivity (the nailtail is found in a limited number of Australian zoos, but is rare by comparison). It's also a funny story how, after being rediscovered as an introduced population in New Zealand, it was discovered they were actually alive and well back in their native range the whole time!
