General Assign NPC crew members to the spare cockpit seat so we can actually see our NPC crew members in our cockpits!!

This is a much needed change, and should be totally doable since Apex Taxis are now a thing anyway.
Go on FDev, stick this on yer roadmap!
- This is the 21st century - why are crew still NPC.jpgs ?
- Crew already have dialogue lines.
- It would not impact base game / horizons.
- After taking the turbolift, Odyssey players should be able to see their 'Active Crew' stood outside their ship in the Hanger (doing final checks, or carrying some luggage). This would be instance based like visiting Legs Engineers.
- It would make sense dismissing your ship on a planet surface and recalling it, if you knew there was an NPC crew member in there.

We know FDev only like to introduce things in half measures - then "develop later" if there is demand LOL
I was giving them the bare bones to make it work. Anything more than that will be a bloody god send!
I wish there were more in ship roles for crew like Nav / Science Desk; allowing other players to navigate, scan and plot routes for the Helm.
Can crew mates repair modules btw?

Dear FD, Since 2015, I've been waiting for an NPC copilot to take seat in the cockpit with me. But now, with how Apex Interstellar works, I know it's not only doable, but almost done... If you at least want to. Please, please, FD, let us have NPC copilots sitting next to us and taking us where...

Numerous times asked before, but sadly never even reacted officially to this
