Only between stations, no distance limit.
No ships (and no cargo).
No suits, no weapons.
Only player with pre-Odyssey materials to upgrade newly purchased ship.
The destination can't be fleet carrier.
The teleporting will abandon all missions.
The purpose of the suggestion is to reduce travel time for players who do not like immersion things like huge space and such.
I want to get to the destination and take part in local actions ASAP.
Edit 00: the problem here is just starring at black screen during travel sometimes takes too much time (more than let's say 30 seconds is already too much) since I prefer to do some actions. That's the reason I started the game.
I do not want to combine playing the game with house keeping stuff and integrate it to my everyday life.
I do not want to watch videos during travel, because if I want watch videos I will watch them without starting the game.
Edit 01: yet again: The point is that starring at black screen for a long time is not a gameplay. I do not need any game to run my imagination. I can read books. Or I can sleep. But just looking at black screen as a gameplay does not seem acceptable. The game provides zero content to fill travel time.
Considering existing gameplay seems the options are:
1. teleport only player in known space only (let explorers continue to explore), balancing it's cargo, missions etc to minimize influence on BGS OR reduce the influence once teleportation used.
2. OR teleport player between own ships (except those which are being transferred). Requirements is the same as for log out. The ship does not continue to fly without pilot.
3. OR make travel in the emptiness faster. Let's say to any point in about one minute: 30 seconds to leave the place you are in, almost zero time when planets are dots, 30 seconds to arrival point. That will require redesign interdiction stuff (there's no time for that) and delivery missions(since at will be easier to run).
I am against things like "the game plays itself" and bots. And there's no intention to provide shortcuts for getting credits/ranks or such in the suggestion.
And yet there's a problem in the game: travels waste time without fun.
Thank you in advance!
