Hell - that brings back memories - scary ones mostly (Bernard Manning !)What deprive me of reading the maunderings of such tortured souls? Never... Reading the mild invective posted by the continually upset that whatever they dreamed the game might have been, or should have been, rather than recognising exactly what it is, is almost as comedic as a night at the Shunters & Wheeltappers Social Club!
I know it will come as a shock, but the very developers you berate managed to develop the game, amazing! They are also developing the game they want, which may or may not be the game you want, but that is of no import - they already have your money. (That said, I don't think they made a particularly wise decision in releasing Odyssey with quite so many performance issues, but that was their choice also)
Apart from the fact that I probably spend far more time playing this game than anyone posting in this thread
Edit: Spellung
Who can forget that other classic of around that time - The indoor league - ah they don't make programmes like that any moreHell - that brings back memories - scary ones mostly (Bernard Manning !)

My pumps! I wondered where I left them. Have you seen my pet brick?
Yes but there was no tag on it so I let the RSPB know where it is and they came to take it away to stay with all the other bricks.
You rotten swine - its home address is stamped into its bricky flesh. Damn royal society for the protection of bricks - I'll have to go get it back now...
It's not called "botley dark" by any chance is it?My pumps! I wondered where I left them. Have you seen my pet brick?

If so, Botley is currently sat on my desk but he's looking a bit thin.
I've tried to feed him some mortar but I think he's pining for you.

it was top quality lime mortar - tastes like gritty quatro. Is it the sort of mortar they use on new builds because everyone knows that's watered down crap.
Back before the Financial Crisis™ my home town (Taunton) decided for some reason to have its own TV station, and they had guests discussing things like bricks. Once (which made me and one of my friends die of laughter) there was a 30 minute discussion about slate roofs, with the presenter declaring his preference for smooth slate in a slightly upper class, slightly tipsy OAP wayIt's not called "botley dark" by any chance is it?
