Waking up in the dark is becoming a habit.
Hello darkness my old friend!
This region of space has a large number of Water Worlds, so it was no surprise that we come across this little gem. I understand that there is an expedition later this year to search for ELWs in this very area. I think they will be very successful.
On the other hand, there are plenty of systems with no planets at all. Patience...
Two Scoops please? Vanilla and Lemon Sorbet - lined up nicely - thank you.
There are some real gems that I do not have time to fully explore. This one I have tagged for a return visit. And no, that was not the space cow - I landed this.
You can see why I want to return here!
An inspection reveals some hull damage from a misjudged approach. The Star of the East requires some maintenance and we are just a hundred jumps from Sagittarius A*
We journey on...
The sun obscures our ultimate destination, now 90 jumps away.
Carefully sampling these Fungoids... You won't catch me again!

It's good to take a nap on the ground. Time lapse photographs show up the beauty of a world and opens you up to greater possibilities.

I am coming to the conclusion that Carbon Dioxide worlds are the most common in the Galaxy - at least in the last 4 regions we have passed through.
A very interesting mesa that was the only place on the planet to host fungoid.
