For the CAS you need to lower supersampling under 1 to get better performances. As expected, no improvement in performance on the ground.
20-22fps average moving around at a ground settlement, with a few dips down into single digits.
Basically not playable for anything other than walking around and taking screenshots of pretty views, which basically sums up my Odyssey experience so far - pretty views and nice screenshots, no game play.
Also my on-foot controls got wiped but my ship controls seemed to all be intact still, so that's different.
The shadows in the cockpit are flickering like crazy, and look very low res ( might be my settings as I probably turned shadows to try and get playable frame rates ).
I only play at 1080p so the CAS stuff does nothing for the frame rates, it just makes the text look a lot worse.
So 4 months and 2 days since the release and it's still not actually playable. On a PC that I can play Cyperpunk 2077 at 1080 and get an average of 45 FPS.
Images must be < 1MB, so jpg is usually best.Hope this works........

Addendum to your comment:Addendum to Update 7:
- Ship interiors. Still not planned, probably never.
- VR Odyssey. Nah.
Noted, thanks for the extra info on location there.@sallymorganmoore
Body: Tjupa 1
Settelement: "hartman agri hub"
Steady fps drop to 1 digit when run from small landing pad to hab's window inside and back.
Actually almost each settlement in this system do it.
I keep watching em for a month and is not fixed yet today.

It has always been looking crap in Odyssey compared to Horizons, for all I can tell (from odyssey vids).Tested the Plasma accelerator damage seems normal on my end, but the plasma accelerator shots looks so dim and toned down now compared to before, its just like a tine star far away when shot![]()
Not sure if new in Update 7 but couldnt find a similar issue in the tracker:
Oden Geiger does not apply the Night Vision mod to a suit. When clicked on "confirm" nothing happens. I tried relogging etc. I had all the materials etc: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/42850
Anyone else having this issue?
It appears that emissive sources have individual profiles made for them - PAs, Rails, Emissive Bobbleheads, some skins... All dead dull in Odyssey! It has always been looking crap in Odyssey compared to Horizons, for all I can tell (from odyssey vids).
They still could not fix it apparently. Which is kind of stupid tbh, have they lost the Horizons source code? Or maybe their Ctrl, C or V key is broken?
