The Azure skin has completely lost it's pearlescent value! It was one of the best looking skins too and a nice reward for our faith in the product. Now it's a flat monotone colour and isn't special at all

I could give you plenty more examples but I've just kind of given up. Some of the differences between Horizons and Odyssey, especially when there's a key USP involved (such as shiny/chrome/metallic effects) that's missing, I just find it hard to believe that they didn't notice this because it's very evident. I'll just leave it at that one can draw whatever conclusion they wish - fact is they're getting sold on their store since release without taking them off until fixed (although I guess they work in Horizons, so a grey area). We'll look pretty obvious they are tweaking materials for every PJ, a few at time, trying to make it look like it was in horizons (another pretty obvious indication that EDO was very far from be ready for release), but they probably won't be able get the exact result for everyone

Hmm, I thought it was more subtle before - where you had to do different stuff when d/ling legal/illegal stuff. Now there's just one rule - 'don't get caught'. Which is fine, but I would like to know why it's been simplified
While i do find the change only mildly irritating (that is any download process being considered illegal), my issue - as i reported in my previous post was that Everyone in a certain radius seemed to get agro in an instant, even tho they had no direct line of sight to me (some were on different floor while a couple were looking the other side)
I still think that only illegal downloads should alert the NPC, but if this change is here to stay then their superhuman senses might need some toning down

No no I don't AT all, I think my bones and heart are very much baked enough by now, I just value all of your wellbeings way too much to see you all go to such massive length to write out things about a company, how it should be run, who should change it to how you suggest, who does what and when and how - when actually it...it just can't be that way.
I certainly don't make demands of how anyone should run their company or their lives or anything ESPECIALLY if I have no actual solid idea of why it is the way it is. I need my energy for more effective purposes...
Like I SEE very awesome people like you with a huge passion for the game with this energy now and I just...wanna see if I can help you use it in a place which will ACTUALLY be useful to you! It's your energy! Your energy is precious!
SADLY though I can't refund you in principles (sometimes I REALLY wish that could be done). I can only work with the team to win back trust, keep pushing on, make things good for the people who are passionate.
We have not deliberately done any of what you're very upset about to spite you - not at all - please believe that. We only want to now make good.
I can't control anything else so I'm not going to even try. Again, I need that kind of energy used on where it actually counts.
Look, again, I SERIOUSLY do not begrudge anyone for being upset. People can of course offload, we will listen - some things we can't do a darn thing on but we will try. Heck, anything we CAN...you can betcha we'll have our shoulder behind!
No worries at all. I hope this helps even a TINY bit. It's not something I can do...like have a bug fixed...BUT here as a human with just a bit of...well....my silly side thoughts anyway.

I have over 20 (yes) Midnight Black PJs. Funnily enough, they looked alright (though slightly different, but I liked it) in the Alpha (phase 4), but big surprise come release they all changed to shiny grey. And still do. I guess they might fix them when they try to sell them in a few months during the specials period.
On a brighter note - Geological Features do now indeed spawn high value materials based on the type of growth that appears. This is a big win!

Sally, feathers are not 'a bit ruffled' because the game is not 'glorious' but for many people simply fundamentally broken and not working in any meaningful sense. To make it worse, FD has not been trying to 'make things right in as sensible a way possible'. From the first day in Alpha FD has not been communicating properly with their customers, and that is putting it mildly. It started by pretending performance would be fine in a few weeks, pinky swear. When at launch it became obvious virtually zero improvements were made we were told to 'wait till the end of the month'. By then still virtually no improvements were made.
Fast forward months and here we are: for most who couldn't play it it is still completely disfunctional. Some have experienced some minor improvements, for others it even got worse. Meanwhile it is completely unknown what Update8, which supposedly will containt 'parts' of the 'significant progress', will actually do for people. Or when it is supposed to come. Or what the final performance target even is.
Mind you, this is not unknown information about some product to be launched in the future. EDO has been sold, at full price, with explicit promises, many months ago. The time is long gone for vagueness. At this point FD should communicate what they think performance on min and recommended specs should be, and when they think they can deliver upon that. FD was confident enough to sell this product to people, so they should be confident enough about this too. And if FD cannot confidently say when their commercial product is going to function properly, that should have some obvious follow-up consequences.
This is not aimed at you, please do understand that. I know you are working very hard and are doing a wonderful job. I am also not aiming at individual devs or other employees, who I am sure are also doing everything they can. But in the end we are talking about a large corporation intentionally and knowingly continuing to sell a broken product. And while this is only a computer game, if this ape had feathers they would be very, very ruffled about it. Its not even that I dont enjoy EDO despite it all, but on general principle I feel it is important to hold corporations accountable for what are, undoubtedly, disturbing anti-consumerist actions.
Beyond that, thank you again for your work in trying to improve things.
