At some point I filled my hold with Gold but the prices seem to have crashed, so I can get rid without making a loss. INARA and EDDB figures are out by some margin.
Platinum is a better commodity I find. Painite is still OK but the market is much more volatile.
Course, to really make a killing you should have bought gas and petrol

As I remember my Two Ronnie's the purpose of insurance is for you the insured to pay them the insurer lots of money.Not for me

I presume the new system works a bit like your FC in that you have a monthly or annual fee deducted automatically from your account, is this done on a per ship basis or is it lumped into a single payment for your fleet?

Also... you'll need seismic charge launcher and an abrasion blaster if you want to go core mining. I don't personally do much of that but I have the option if I want. If subsurface mining appeals, you'll also need the displacement missile launcher.

An A-rated prospector doubles the yield from an asteroid (when laser mining). Makes that 500T go faster.
From the wiki:
"Prospector drones will increase the quantity of fragments that can be obtained from an asteroid, with the magnitude of this effect dependent on their letter rating (notably not class); with A-rating being the strongest, as expected. An A-rated Prospector Controller of any number class (1, 3, 5, 7) has the same increase to fragment yield. This effect is not applied retroactively. For example: if an asteroid can produce 10 fragments normally and it is prospected from the start, it will now yield 20 fragments."

It's a fine ship!
It's similar to the look I have for mine. I love those sensor looking things sticking out of the wings * and near the cockpit; it suits its intended role as an exploration ship.

This is the first time I used prospector limpets... and I thought i will be wasting alot of them...so I filled my full 72t cargo hold with them. Stupid noob...
i ended up needed to dump 20 of them at the belt for the refined products......I keep the overall delta shape of the ship to resemble those starwars old republic ships (the squadron paint jobs are obviously the Grand Army of the Republic / Rebel Alliance theme).
