Seriously lads, all this has been laid out repeatedly, more than once, ad nauseam: Console development has been put on hold until Odyssey is in a fit state to be released on them. Based on what you've been reading from PC players, ask yourselves if you think that's currently the case.
BELIEVE US when we say that you don't want it right now. The wobbly shadows, shaders all over the place, non-mouth moving NPCs, random crashes, awful performance, inventory issues, and all the other bugs that are too many to list.
At the moment, they're just APPROACHING the point of where the game was supposed to be on release four months ago, and are starting to add in the extra bits and bobs they were planning post-launch. We're barely even AT the date the original console launch was set for, Autumn 2021.
Given that "proper Odyssey" on the PC is still a couple of months away (bearing in mind PC folks have already paid for it), and that the plan for console launch was set for several months after that, everyone knew from the announcement in June that it was going to be 2022. I'm not sure how unloading on absolutely every dev post/community manager appearance about it will get some sort of reaction from them, other than garner a reason for hand-wringing.
