Life Finds A Way

Won't be happening in JWE2. Maybe in a sequel in the far future.

As far as JWE2 is concerned, they'd need to add about 80 hatchling models and bahaviours, as well as interactions of adults with the hatchlings. The gene system also needs somehow to be incorporated in the breeding precess. All in all, a lot of work.

While it would be nice, I'd rather have more species and other features than this.

Breeding would be good, like in JP/JW movies. No need for mating animations for obvious reasons, there would be some changes yes but it would be just some additional animations in the juveniles and interactions. Adult animals already have enormous complexity already in the base game. Texture the models of juveniles takes time but it is more difficult to program A.I, but since Frontier managed to introduce breeding in PZ with more than 100 animals, then technically it is entirely possible in JWE2. Obviously it would be something for next year, it would take a long time, but it is technically possible.

Good points. But Planet Zoo comes out closer to 80 species with juveniles, as those in the exhibits aren't seen (at least they weren't last time I played). And that is after a whole lot of DLCs.

Remember PZ is a PC exclusive and you need a certain PC setup while JWE2 has to run on PS4/PS5 the Xbox one and the Xbox series X|S and PC and most likely switch in the future

I agree with this point regarding how DLC's work, but let's see what the future awaits us. Anyway, thanks for the reply!

Yes but your excluding your other big gaming devices Xbox one and especially PS4
Oh, I get your point! From the perspective of the number of users only in the future when most have access to the new generation of consoles. Maybe in the future! Even if it is in the distant future, breeding would be great. See the male and female dinosaurs interacting with each other, the juveniles following the adults, playing, running attracting guests. Maybe in the future!

You make a good point but I just realized that the game is already to much for the older consoles because they already have 50 species cap

...with hachtlings that would either be cut down to 25, or the animals stop breeding when 50 different models are present. Neither seems good. I mean, it'll definitly work for some of the more limited challenge mode parks, but for anythign else that's not a good look. And I say that as someone who overall prefers challenge over sandbox.
