Ships The Famous Corvette Grind

JOB DONE! I put in work, Just need a build to engineer now <3
My condolences - the grind really starts now, once you realize that the 'vette has 7 hardpoints and 8 utility slots that all want engineering 😁

As for your engineering target - what do you want to use it for? I'm using mine for cargo, with some additions to handle NPC ex-pirates...
As you can see, I got bored with engineering all those guns, so the majority is "only" G3 OC'ed

Hmm, No bi Weaver? interesting

baudelier posted what's considered the fatstest grind.

Sothis and Ceos are both in boom. I took the longer approach of running boom and data delivery missions between stations in those systems.

I have only been playing this for 2 months. Maybe less

I love my Anaconda and all my other ships.
I know this is going to come across as a "In my day up hill both ways" post, but my goodness....an Anaconda in two months. I couldn't have imagined that in 3302.

Congratulations on the Corvette, CMDR. She's a fine battle wagon!

It's not a CZ build - and with all those reinforcements and boosters the recharge time of bi-weaves is already too long for a single engagement. Might be different if I put the shields into one of the larger slots, but even then it would probably need SCBs, which would then require a bigger PP...

This is a good beginner-friendly Corvette for NPC farming in a RES or CZ, It's more or less indestructible due to the strong and fast charging shields. The lasers do more than enough damage to kill any NPC fast, especially if you target power plants. They let you stay out as long as you want without having to run back for ammo. The fighter must be the one that uses fixed multi- cannons. If you want to rank up yourself, then swap the fighter for another Guardian shield booster because the fighter steels half your rank points. If you're not ranking yourself, always set the fighter on the NPC first and wait for it to land a shot before firing yourself. This stops the NPCs from using chaff and stops them from shooting at you until too late for them unless they pop the fighter.

I tested a lot of different load outs for Corvettes against NPCs. This one gives the highest bounty earnings rate and the fastest overall kill rate - enough to keep me in the top 10 on Inara, even though I haven't done any farming in the last 6 months. That's about 200,000 kills across my 4 accounts.

Ngallin to Mainani was also popular for data mission runs. Generally ranking up with the Feds is the fastest in the game.
Ngallin to Mainani is where I worked up my Imperial rank to Duke a few months ago. No Federation presence there.
But yes, this location still works for Imperial Rank.

My Epic alt got Empire Duke rank by doing rescue missions in Paresa.
So people should keep an eye for damaged stations in Fed/Empire systems and help them out

id those runs thinking thy wer e for the Feds.

Sorry I never did these runs thinking it was the Feds. My mistake. I ranked up with the Empire using a Imperial Clipper at ADITI before Frontier nerfed it.

I do apologize, I simply wish to get this vehicle as quickly as possible. With having the most amount of fun. If i came across as an idiot I am sorry. I have only been playing this for 2 months. Maybe less

I want this ship, It looks incredible. I love my Anaconda and all my other ships. SO THIS is high on my list.

I simply wanted input & tips. Not sarcasm
07 cmdr,
we are always keeping our eye on the prize... the FEDERAL CORVETTE.
so you wish to be Admiral... it is a long-term goal...
the tip may be to increase your reputation and influence in several systems that favor federation and give federation missions...

max your rep and visit stations after at max rep ... i have about three home stations... because i trade/haul...
if you see the federation "symbol" or "insignia" in missions ... get max rep with a fed. faction or the main controlling of the stations
it is special when you remember which stations are your home...

when you hand in missions , for reward select max reputation+++ influence++

the beginning mission dialog will say at the bottom or end of dialog... increases rank to... etc..

more tips is donnot play ED to "grind" ... you need to gain experience...
which means improve your ship , and have good ships of all sizes ..small, medium, large..
each ship should be great at doing specific mission types...

eventually it gets harder and harder.. if you donnot learn from gaining experince... soo remember not grind ...

light years from now you will say... who is this Blue Mars Cmdr - MidShipman 100% ?
