Well, i didn't really want to dive into that, but its a bit controversial.

I don't think it really equates either. That was water under the bridge before the game went beyond alpha, whereas even if interiors were / are definitely for definite, on the roadmap and Bruce' whiteboard, you'd still have to go through Odyssey first to get there. (In fact it would have been 100% nuts to try to do both at the same time anyway)

Did they really? Do you have proof?
Or did they promise to refund, then took a time out?
Well, proof doesn't seem to be a pre-requisite around these parts... but I can remember the crater it left, me not being affected, how others were and how some got their money back. The board where it was posted is gone whoever, so make whatever you want of it. I'm not here to convince anyone :)

Has there been any official update on this?
Ship Interiors

Another topic we know players keen for more information on is around ship interiors, and we wanted to clarify our current position on this.

While Odyssey will see players explore a wide range of on and off world locations including station interiors, ship interiors will not be included at launch.

We understand that the bond between Commander and starship is incredibly strong and know this will disappointing news for some. However, we believe it is right to invest our development time in locations and features which offer the most meaningful experience and gameplay for all players.

I wish Drew well, had a nice conversation with him on a few occasions in game in the past. I'm not sure that him deciding to leave the game deserves 26 pages of posts though (and I know, i'm adding to it ;-) ).

Well you seem to require proof, only to deny it when it is right in front of you.

So no proof then?

Obviously.

Yeah what's his problem anyway? ;)

Seems like a nice guy but the post I saw was a little backward thinking in my view
(meaning sentimental for the old days rather than anything else, and fwiw I thought code/covid 'illiterate' for want of better word)

In fairness, it's only 17 pages as the first few pages were when he left the second or third time.

Drew's current 'farewell' had a few pages dedicated to it... The remainder is the usual in-fighting between folk who play the game and those who no longer do :ROFLMAO:

Come on Rat I love you like an illegitimate brother but it's not as binary as that.

Some still play the game but are mad as hell about it. Some still play but are constantly let down but separation anxiety compels them to stay.

True enough... I should have added a few extra words for clarity... It is simply that clarity is not a prerequisite in making accusations or claims, so my post was reflecting the current trend of containing sufficient information to be inflammatory and accusing, but lacking in the content required to be entirely accurate.

As I said, a rounding error. ;)

From a cold hearted business perspective of course.

On its own, given the overall sums involved, yes. It's a drop in the ocean.

But multiply that by 20 to 30 backers pledging the same amount or much (much) higher each, and it becomes something more than a 'rounding error'. ;)

Remember you could pledge up to £5000 in the Kickstarter.
