What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

The things everyone posts here are so inspiring! Whenever I don't know what to build, I only have to take a look at the images in this thread and will almost immediately get some new ideas. :)

Today I have finally gotten the chance to finish up my second habitat of the NA pack (after the sea lions). So, I present to you: the Moose Habitat! Located directly beyond the sea lions, this enclosure gives the moose plenty of space to roam around and take a swim in their lush enclosure. The viewers can look at them from a little sideway path (image 1), or from the elevated lookout platforms (image 2; those aren't completely finished yet. I'm now building a giant plains habitat for bisons and pronghorns on the other side, and will finish the walkthrough building for the guests then). The moose also have an indoor section with some stables below the guests walkway, which they can enter at the left end of the building.
Whaaaaaa? That's just so crazy good I barely have words.

Even I can't put aquatic animals without having a lot of bugs (passing through the fences and solid objects while they're diving), I've try to finish (not totally yet) a full aquatic zone !

GIF for a better understanding :

I wanted to put Grey Seals or California Sea Lion, but all my guests were terrified when they escaped o_O . So I only put King Penguin and Pygmy Hippopotamus (Hippo don't escape because they don't dive, they only walk on the water floor). For the house, I've been inspired by a SimplySavannav's creation, I love her work !!
Hope you see some interesting things in it !

Thanks for the attention !

This Enclosure is absolutely awesome. Would definitely look awesome with Sealions and/or Grey Seals. I'd love to see more of this Zoo.

I wonder what exactly can cause this Bug. Once I've had a King Penguin Enclosure where they escaped all the Time and it always stopped after reducing the Group Size (it was a relatively small Enclosure). In my Marine Park it only happened once that a Grey Seal clipped through the Glass Barrier and floated into the Saltwater Crocodile Tank (even though the Seals there have plenty of Space). But from Reports of other Players, it seems like the Reason for my Penguins isn't the Main Reason for the Problem 🤔

Aaw, thanks ! Me too I'd love to have Sea Lions or Grey Seals here, me too 🥲
Thanks, maybe one day I'll take time to show different enclosures I've just finished 💚

I made some topics on the Feedbacks section, so I don't want to pollute this topic with these problems, but yeah, for me these aquatics bugs ruin my game and are the most annoying of all the game 😢

I'm late, sorry!
Yesterday I made the very simple Prairiedog habitat.
I only had another enclosure for them, which unfortunately has become much too big again, a nyala herd now lives there.

And I filled in the gaps a bit with plants, stones, etc.

Not shure about the flowers

And a very very very early wip Moose habitat

And as always (Sorry that I'm so short, I'm tired and my bed is already calling me 😂)

I think, I would use Nettles and other mostly dark green Forest Vegetation there instead of the Flowers. Maybe with a thin wooden Piece like the thin Climbing Log placed vertically in different Heights to create a nice fitting Barrier around the planted Areas

I made another good progress on the Arctic section. Finally, I continued working on the polar bear habitat. While I've scrapped the idea of adding an underwater tunnel, I started to add a normal tunnel. It will be the separation of the male polar bear habitat on the right side and the female habitat on the left side. The bears can cross the tunnel with an overpass.
In the foreground you can see the visitor center that I started to build. It will have multiple levels to give different perspectives on the bears. It was such a nightmare to build the path and in the end it still didn't look good enough. Luckily, we have plaster pieces, so I can hide my mistakes. :p

Here's a current overview of the Arctic Passage section.
As you can see, I will add the moose and the beaver to the left side. Both species also live in sub-arctic areas; so the idea is that the visitors will explore the icy waters of the Arctic Ocean with seals and polar bears first, then slowly coming into the tundra with once again polar bear, dall sheep, reindeer and Arctic wolf; the landscape then changes into a taiga forest with moose and beavers, while in the end the path leads back to the tundra with a final view on the polar bears and a small enclosure for the Arctic foxes.

Hi, so I've been working on shelter / backstage for the sea lions all week and a half. Located in my zoo Tauern Animal Sanctuary and I'm very pleased with the result. Let's see behind the scenes.;)

I really like the result and sure I love the sea lion, I took a lot of inspiration from Georgia Aquarium. I have not yet started working on an outdoor habitat but it will be ready I will share with you.🦭💙

I love the Floor in the first Picture. Which Piece did you use? The Plastic Shapes? They are also great for flat Roofs sometimes 😉
I do also really like the Separation Pens and that everyone of them has a Number.
How did you get it to look so bright? Did they finally fix the Lamps or is another Lamp that works properly hidden inside the Ceiling?

I'm glad to hear you liked it, yes I used Floor in Plastic Shapes.
Maybe it's bright for me because I changed the brightness in the settings to be brighter, maybe they fixed them I don't know🤔

Previously those Lamps (and many others) were so incredibly dark that they were totally useless for a long Time.
I think while looking at those Pictures that this Plastic Floor could be really nice for a Indoor Area when I rebuild my Antarctic Research Center 🤔
But I do also have multiple other Projects planned due to my long Absence from the Game. Luckily I was finally able to make my Computer work again today. I just hope my second Hard Drive can be fixed by the Software of the Manufacturer. Then I'll completely rebuild my Orangutan Breeding Center, maybe start with the new Version of the Antarctic Research Center (if the Heightmaps also work outside of the buildable Area and remove Plants. But it would be optimal if we would also get a Option to change Map Backgrounds. Way too many Trees there) and a small Zoo in a Country that is a Secret until I share it here is also planned

Cool to hear :D
