Outstanding miss of the points I've attempted to raise.Outstanding blunder - good form OP!
The POI system is a mess as is the planetary map but if you're fine with this mess that ED is, who am I to argue?

Bah. "Turn the other cheek" is so overrated. You can rise above their slanderous disposition. Lead by example!

The missing numbering on all the Odyssey planetary POIs is probably the most obvious problem - and it shouldn't be that difficult to fix. It's already done for Horizons POIs like the Geographic Anomaly or Biological Anomaly resource spots. It's annoying POI aren't numbered, and that you can't create custom waypoints and share them. The current system is sufficient, but barely so.

It would help if the description gave a clue but I'm not going to hold my breath. Previous bugs I've raised haven't even been looked at.The missing numbering on all the Odyssey planetary POIs is probably the most obvious problem - and it shouldn't be that difficult to fix. On a planet with...say 4 wrecks. They're all named identically in the Nav Panel. It's impossible to tell which one(s) you've already been to. Easier to just say screw it and go to the next planet.
If you think I'm offended then you credit yourself with more impact than you have. I just chalked you up as background noise who didn't have anything better to do and who didn't understand the point I was making. It was a joke dude, no need to be offended by something silly really.

It is an installation (an INRA base), if my memory serves me, probably the one where a thargoid was held while developing the mycoid virus... I think it was killed by it... Stack is on a body in the Jameson crash site system. But 'Stack' is most likely a placeholder text/string that was never properly implemented.

I'm actually inclined to believe Bottom Hat wasn't being a jerk in his post earlier about a big blunder. Perhaps it's time toLol at your ego!
Hey, the old-timers have been calling the game exactly that since before I joined... so "become" is certainly inaccurate according to the sentiments already expressedIt's almost like some people like the half baked
Oh yea - I forgot about that!It is an installation (an INRA base), if my memory serves me, probably the one where a thargoid was held while developing the mycoid virus... I think it was killed by it... Stack is on a body in the Jameson crash site system.
I only visited it once about 3 years ago, I may take a look at it in Odyssey when I get back to the bubble. If it is like the majority of Horizons installations it is likely to be in a different location in Odyssey, so comparing the site from both versions may be an exercise in patience.Oh yea - I forgot about that!

Not the most descriptive of settlement names, I agree - but self-discovery is part of the game's tradition.![]()
