Hah, this would be nice! The cross-species herding might be the only thing unconfirmed in JWE2,
Agree, everything is so pretty. This is the trailer that made me super hyped for JWE. I wish we could have that version of the game or JWE would have been more like that. I liked the Rex model from that video and I liked the nice fog effect and the lighting.
No, this was a deliberate way to mislead gamers - not unlike cyberpunk 2077, but on a smaller scale. And if you look at the video it says "in-game footage". So you know, that's exactly what we were supposed to get.Nothing was Promised this is simple Marketing. Almost every Developer/Publishers first Trailer has nothing to do with what you get.![]()

Love the optimism of your post BTW.

FYI, "sleeping" animations in and of themselves were actually at launch. They just weren't used as "Sleeping" behavior. It's a memetic misconception. They were instead, used solely as "Dying" animations, in which they would only wake up when healed by rangers. Dinos only do this when suffering at very low, slowly depleating, health due to starvation, disease, or dehydration. The "Sleeping" behavior system, that was added in subsequent patches, just reuses the script animations already implemented for the existing "Dying" behavior system, into the newly implemented one.Sleeping animations were added into JWE1 via patch,

This while true but we all know its not that in the Gaming Industry. Did any developer evef face issues ? No. All of them are doing this. Ubisoft,EA,Activision and so on. I mean how van you say that they sre doing this since decades without any case of any problems. The biggest problem is a few people wont buy it at best. But they make millions to billions you dont matter. Its a business.Going to disagree with you there. While it doesn't promise anything per say, marketing materials are intended to impart to potential consumers the content of the product or service being offered. You can quickly run into false advertising issues if the marketing is not representative of the experience. You'll notice this is why movies using clips from the full length film and video games use bits and pieces of the game for promotional purposes. That trailer for JWE wasn't egregious, much of what was in it made it to the final game even the sleeping albeit that was deployed well after release.
Its a careful balance and while people have argued ad infinitum about that trailer, its a grey area, just wanted to make it clear the expectation and legal obligation inherent in being careful of what promotional materials are put out to the public.
I try to be optimistic, but I was just being honest with you. That stuff already exists in JWE either at launch or via post-launch patches. Pack Hunting, however, is only in JWE2 and who knows about how herding behaves now, there hasn't been a lot on that subject.
But we didn’t yet nothing happened. Because its been like this since ages. If they would you give these graphics. I just remember crysis in 2007 i was 13 years old almost nobody could play it, crytek almost went bankrupt. Thats what would happen. Most people are on Ps 4/xbox ones/ gtx 1050-1060 thats where the money comes snd it has to run on those from not from the 0.02% with a 3090.No, this was a deliberate way to mislead gamers - not unlike cyberpunk 2077, but on a smaller scale. You're making no sense at all, it's so funny you ask others to "think logically". Besides, I wasn't talking about the graphics AT ALL.But we didn’t yet nothing happened. There likely isn't one. Just baseless trolling with atrocious syntax and grammar.I also don't know what sort of conclusion you are trying to make.

Optimism is your strongest suit! Most likely, but I don't want to presume in case it is legitimate, I might just be too hopeful though.
