State of the Game

Wife found this in the flyer for a local supermarket...

Perhaps he'd be open for a merger, to improve our public image?

If not, then we should destroy him and his congregation.
Have you ever read "Dianetics"?

In my entire life there have only ever been 3 books that scared the hell out of me to the point that I had to stop reading them: "Pet Sematary", "Obsidian Butterfly" (an Anita Blake vampire story, actually had to stop reading the entire series after this one) and "Dianetics".

Destruction is the only way to be sure...

This is a bit off topic, but can anyone recommend a good 4k monitor.

I currently use my 2010/11 iMac as my monitor but want to go 4K, coz - we'll, why not.
Life has been a bit cack recently, and I fancy spoiling myself, plus if I do it while the missus is away, she need never know :)

EDIT:Meant to say - current screen is 27" - which is a good size for my desk

Ive got an Inno3D RTX3070 OC (8GB)

Cheers for the link
I've got an RTX 2060 for which I purchased, on sale, an HP Omen 27i 2K monitor, from that list, and I am extremely happy with it (features, resolution and performance).

I was going to recommend HP Omen but I see they don't have any 4K gaming monitors.

My BIL was using a 24" 4K/60 Hz monitor for ED but after he saw mine he purchased a similar 30" 2K gaming monitor from a different manufacturer.

I believe Ratty plays in 4K and may be able to make a recommendation there...

Confession -
I have just spent the last 2 hours playing Odyssey, and have thoroughly enjoyed it - I have had no frame drops (yet), I've been trying out the new(ish) DLSS scaling in the latest NVIDIA driver, and so far all seems really good.

I play @ 2560x1440 - and nothing has dropped below 60FPS (syncs to screen).

Apologies for the heresy - I'll post some cat pictures later as penance.

Did you do any on-foot activities? Or was it all in space?

How dare you.
Immediately nerf yourself by simultaneously playing the least optimised game ever - sim city 4.
