What do you think then, mate - easy or hard to make in Lego?
At first glance I'm seeing some pretty standard pieces and the cockpit looks do-able.
The gaps around the wheel covers look a bit tricky.

Here is a very, very rough quick attempt at it- its really doable, just my Lego is currently occupied

That's fantastic, and really fast work!

The canopy works a lot better than the one I was thinking of (the old x-wing one).
The fence on the front is perfect.

I've seen them all mate and the books up to and including 6, so haven't gone on to 7 yet - not sure if I should read the books first though? Is it a wise move as this is scripted to be the last season? The trailer shows an alien pig on steroids, so I'm not sure what the series will cover from the books if you know what I mean?

Those tyres are great too.
I reckon the back shell type part will be the trickiest. There was a ufo set some years ago that had a similar shape that might have some handy parts for it.

Okay makes sense - tbh that was my initial understanding, then seeing the Schwarzenegger pig on the trailer on prime confused me, as to whether series 6 ventured into book 7 or beyond.

Good advice though, thank you. I'll get book 7 on my Xmas list - probably the only thing I'll get anyway, so might as well buy it for myself!

From what I've read each episode will feature a part of the Strange Dogs novella but beyond that, I have no idea. Knowing them we'll get blue balled at the end.
