Elite Dangerous: Odyssey | Update 9 Notes

So is my question completely irrelevant to you Sally or did you just completely miss post 738? Honestly either could be said but personally it really does just feel like console players are just being ignored. I guess it is whatever though because every company does this to console so that makes it OK right.....
I'm guessing Sally has finished work by know. But you never thought about that did you?

First yes I did, second how about you go silver knight to someone else because idc what you got to say bud🥰
So why did you ask the question then. It's not like you are exactly the first to ask it, a quick look through the forums will tell you that. The dumbest thing about your post is you know what the answer is anyway.

Love the look of this update having just re-purchased Odyssey and started playing Elite again after a long layoff (MS launched a new flight sim).
Really looking forward to the rest of winter in the UK now it's dark at 4pm and huge catch up opportunities with Elite looking better than ever in VR.
Great to be back :)

Loads of issues after that update in VR. Problems like frames skipping, steering ship and vehicle. It feels like I went back to my old old old graphic card. No problems though before the update. It's no fun anymore and I think I have to change to another scifi game. Maybe I'll come back in half a year or so when they got it together.
Comd. Gerdo offline....

Hey guys!
I've just made a test check for Thermal Conduit experimental effect for Plasma Accelerators and it still the same broken: flat +60% damage right after 101% heat. No scaling.

The original one thermal conduit was wokring like this:
- ~-10% of damage while ship is below 100% heat
- ~+30% when ship is close to 160% of heat
- the damage bonus was scaling from 101% to 160% (and capped if I remember correctly)
**there might be many pilots who also remember this or can correct a bit numbers but the idea was like this.

Currently after this patch - nothing changed. Raw tests here:

@sallymorganmoore could you please take a look for this issue? Cause it was marked as fixed in current patch - I made raw tests and no changes spotted :[
If you or need any details - I would be glad to provide more!

Have been enjoying the random mission givers at Settlements, gives an extra layer of flavour to the environment. I took one Asassination mission and completed it but on returning the Mission Giver had gone (was not labelled at the base) and the mission merely identified the returnee as a blank. I heard that the mission givers could get into trouble themselves but there was nothing to indicate that had happened here. I did add it to the Issue Tracker but it hasnt appeared yet to link it to.

One unintended consequence (or maybe intended?) is that the Python might be knocked off the top spot for mining. It can't fit the ULC so won't have the advantage of the better collector limpets.

Research limpets though... AFAIK the only controller so far was size 1 with one limpet. More simultaneous launches will now be possible from most ships for sampling Thargoids.

Yes,.. those modules are next to unusable on small ships.. in some cases they weigh more than the ship.

In a DBX you can replace the guardian FSD booster with a standard LC and get a better jumprange than replacing a LC with a MultiLC..
Now that's what I call useless :D

And of course... the conda can do it ALL as always. I think I should just buy 10 Condas and throw away every other ship. They're not really needed in this game.

I confirm this. PC Horizons crashes whenever a Sentinel spawns or a Pylon rises.

I'd play in Odyssey but then the SRV can't target Sentinels in turret mode, or fire its weapon.
I did target and shoot down Sentinels from the turret in Odyssey after patch, no prob for me

Be fun trying to land at an outpost...
Oh... and that's the huge disadvantage?

I think, there should be more unique abilities for each class... and I also like the idea that the biggest ships are mandatory to multicrew. I know that won't happen (just like ship interiors), but that doesn't make the idea worse imo.

Oh... and that's the huge disadvantage?
Of course it is if one has business there... ;) There are also many surface installation in EDO that do nor even have a Medium pad... But if all one wished to do is haul cargo / passengers between large pad starports and explore, having 100 large ships would be no disadvantage, I guess.
