Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

Its best damn cult of memes around!

And your avatar!!!! What have you done!?
It's our SC org logo...we all have our own personal badge now. I kinda like mine. As our glorious leader said..."We look like one of those fancy orgs now...minus the fancy."

Looks like we will soon have another skeptic

He's put more thought into this than some backers and possibly CIG.

Also Spectrum in uproar about the gift box nerf. Haha, they should come play ED sometime, then they will learn about nerfs :D

Can't click the like button enough...huge fan of Terada's hard flying vids. Fancy skillz way beyond mine with a cool techno tune playing. That precision flying stuff is way harder than it looks :)

Eventually i'll spend the money on a high end HOTAS and at least try and learn how to fly like that, it looks like a lot of fun.

The original post was deleted, the video was pretty funny, i'll not repost it just in case it was the mods who deleted it, i'll pm it to you in Discord. :)

Edit: you have seen it there :)

Damnit! You and Mole now look too similar with your avatars! I actually need to read the name!

Seriously though...they discuss refunds in there about as often as it's discussed in here. The boat has kinda sailed away on the refund front...a long time ago. I know because I was on it. A group of born again revisionists who may or may not have spent a few bob then got to endlessly biatching about Star Citizen and calling other folk childish names isn't that rare or unique...have a look at Spectrum.

2016 was a really notable refund wave, for sure. But the refunds sub clearly demonstrates that there's still plenty of it going on.

Those examples, just a few days apart, involved:

There are posts about comparable things all the time on there. (It's not all just moans and outsiders leering ;))

Refunds & cash-outs are probably driven more by long-form attrition at the moment, rather than spiking due to one crystallised disappointment like 2016 & 3.0, that's true. But that doesn't mean 'the boat has sailed' on that front exactly. (The time of making your money back reliably has gone, for sure. But people are still cashing out anyway. Which probably says something in its own right ;))

It would just be pretty odd if this regular stream of 'I'm finally out' posters weren't contributing to SC_refunds' steady growth in members ¯\(ツ)/¯

Didn't you know? All those refund posts are made to spread FUD by Derek Smart alt accounts!
