New 25 essential habitat animals META-WISHLIST

Was that why Planet Zoo had those species? I've been wonder why some other species were chosen for Planet Zoo.
Yes, frontier have special criteria list, which they use to select animals for potential pack. I think most of them we know from SEA pack developer journal and recent interview.
When fronier cant decide between 2 species, they look for answer in community wishes. Publishing and Community team is responsible for it.
So for example if that team think rainforest pack will be good, they pass such information to developers. Devs then collect as much diverse list as possible and pick final 5/8 which fit the game according to them.

I LOVE sloths. Slow but very cute! I think these guys are very important un our zoos, their climbing mechanics are incredible. Please don't forget them my friends😃😃😃🦥🦥🦥

Sloths would be really nice. I wonder how Frontier would implement them. I hope they would almost only climb down to poop like in Real life and that we'll get special Water Bowls and Food Bowls for climbing Animals
You' re right. Sloths are challenging. But we need real arboreal animals in Planet Zoo, and these sloth's climbing animations could be implemented in other animals that we already have. For example, orangutans in the game stay on the ground often, but the real ones spend virtually all their lifes on trees. These climbing skills and others as brachiation are needed for orangutans, gibbons or Spider monkeys.

I’m really happy for all top 12 species from the list that all reached more than 100 votes.
Hope they would find their way in to the game soon and would make a hell of a packs 🤩

3. Tasmanian devil
4. Przewalski horse
5. Maned wolf
6. Porcupine

12. Wolverine

I'm unfortunately not confident in Frontier doing sloths well as of yet. They'd need to do a revamp to the existing climbing system first--maybe with a tropical or primate pack.

It is challenging but diving movements are harder ti develop and Frontier did It with the aquatic pack. They introduced diving mechanics and afterwards implemented them in old animals. Game Director, Steve Wilkins, and Game Designer, Kilian Schmitt day un the interview about european DLC said that to make animals dive was the most difficult but the most grateful work in the Game. I encourage Frontier people to continue doing great things!

Anyway, if we don't vote for sloths Frontier Will never include them.

Thumbs Up for Sloths🦥🦥🦥

Sorry if I'm a bit harsh here, but why can't you do like literally everyone else and post just your 5 additional animals? I don't know if it was on purpose or just a lapse but either way it takes barely no effort to cooperate so I'm not forced to check what your 5 actual new animals are, on top of all the other lists I have to deal with. Your new list contains not 5 but 13 new animals compared to your original list so I'm obviously not adding it.

Additional five:
1. Bush Dog
2. Saiga
3. Linnaeus's Two Toed Sloth
4. Patagonian Mara

Yeah, I agree, while i think they could be done, I'm less sure sloths would be done "right". Same for the platypus, though for different reasons. Everything else in the upper parts of the meta list I'm confident they could pull off with no problem.
