Have they revised the $40,000 "Completionist" pack so that it actually includes everything, or is it still a few ship short and not giving a discount over buying them all separately?Funny thing is about the 40k pack and having to spend at least 10k, it means you already have quite a few ships that are included in the 40k pack.
We can be sure he hasn't read "The Mythical Man-Month", at the very least.Chris presumably thinks throwing more people at an already late project will speed it up.
Guy has never read a book on project management in his life i'm sure.
We are 9 years in to the 2 years it was planned to develop Star Citizen. Surely that says everything? One of the most upvoted threads on /r/sc in a while.

88% upvoted, meaning with 6494 upvotes there were around 885 downvoters who don't like the truth about the patch.
LOL, not enough faithful mashing that downvote button to override this one.
They're building the company and the pipelines. Haven't you heard of Manchester (which is not a cheese, I've learned).Development only started last year though
Surely CIG really, really only started development ... a week ago last Tuesday! We are 9 years in to the 2 years it was planned to develop Star Citizen. Surely that says everything?

Server meshing is holding the PU up...but also SQ42. On the Server meshing side they can't really ram in major content till that tech is in as the servers are really struggling so expect next year to be dry for patches. For SQ42 obviously its a priority for CIG so more dev work is being done for that then whatever features need to go into the PU they will make it for SQ42 then give it to the PU teams where they will make it work for the PU (I don't know why CIG has only just figured that out and didn't start with it from the beginning).
And who did this? So, someone ran the maths and calculated based on CIG's spend rate (not sure if extrapolated from last year's numbers or just taken as-is) that this patch cost CIG 9.22 million.
Of course, the numbers might be off, but looking at it this way, it is hilarious.
And who did this?
Ahh... the true classic of modern journalism...
