Planet Zoo Update 1.8.1 is here!

- European badger is advertised on the Steam page to be able to use the new Bark rubbing pad, that is not reflected in game as the badgers do not use this object, will this be fixed? European badgers do not have alot of enrichment options so any extra would help.

Hello! I had a look into this, turns out it was an error on the Steam page, it wasn't meant to list two animals just the one (The Lynx!). Sorry for the confusion but thank you for highlighting it, we've fixed it now!

A few minor requests before the next update. The pronghorns and the prairie dogs should get an interspecies bonus from each other and both species should be more comfortable with lower temperatures, at least down to -4°.

Same AND the animals still swimm through the freaking barriers over a year later! Rendering underwater viewing points basically impossible unless you constantly wanna run after your escaped animals.

Agree. I'm happy to see this update, but I'd love a confirmation that educators are being looked at, as they honestly don't work at all for me. I know not everyone has the issues, but a fair number of us do.

Thanks for continuing to update the game and fix some bugs but I've just spent the last hour sorting out habitats not getting cleaned (including one keeper off in another habitat in a completely different workzone!), not filling up water troughs no matter how many times I moved them and animals clipping through walls and escaping. I'd happily sacrifice the next DLC in favour of a complete overhaul of all the bugs, inconsistencies and things that just don't work that are raised almost daily here and on Steam and no doubt plenty of other places. Please, Frontier, listen to your fans!

Thanks for the update! But I think the sheep should have the mountain sheep, I dont know why some of these objects should be tied exclusive to dlc animals.

Walkthrough fallow deer is a perfect improvement thank you for the update.

I really like to play an Al Pine Zoo in Sandbox mode and I constantly have a problem with walkthrough badger habitat. Animals are constantly getting stressed by to many people watching them. Should I close the walkthrough and install one way vision glass to avoid that?
Or create more interesting hanbitat near by so the people would go there instead of here?
I would really like to resolve this somehow

Dear Frontier, thanks a lot for this update. Sorry to say that, but I'm not sure that the following bug has been fixed:

• Vet getting stuck trying to remove a dead animal

Yesterday I've started my game and the doctor is still standing beside the dead komodowaran. Is there a possibility to clear a cache or something like that? Also I hoped that the bug is fixed which make penguins or seals sometimes swimming through the glass wand of there habitat and will then classified as escaped animals. Will it be fixed in a following uodate? Thank you for your support.

Just a quick question, do bugs that get expired still get looked at?

I'm asking because this one seems to have expired very quickly and can very easily be replicated; and it would be a shame that it doesn't get looked at because it's a real annoying issue for a lot of builders atm that originated in 1.8. I'm always the first one to tell people to make a issue in the tracker but I can understand the frustration too if someone goes through the effort to give a good description to reproduce it but it gets expired before anything is done about it

I've checked my Zoo once more and now the doctor is gone and also the dead animal. So at the moment I will say that this bug is fixed yet. Thank you!

Can you turn off just stress while keeping all the other animal welfare metrics?

You can access the Planet Zoo part of the issue tracker here! In the top right corner you can see "submit report" and that is how you'd add an issue. However I would recommend having a quick check if your issue has been shared by someone else first, as you can then contribute to that report instead
