It seems to be a placeboI've done that plenty over the updates, sorry to say it made no difference for me.

I am not seeing the extreme freezes seen originally, by far. Since update 8 all I see a slight momentary dip in FPS just when the ship lands, but it is barely noticeable. A least in my case.I know this wasn't mentioned in the notes, but the settlement loading freezes that were fixed in Update 8 and reintroduced in Update 9 are still there.
I'm Uncertain that will work"A quantum-physics issue allowing multiple players collecting the same item was fixed " - good thing the devs are also dabbling in quantum mechanics over the week-ends![]()
Thanks for the investigation on SRV and scoop problems that i haveView attachment 287923#DONT FORGET YOUR LIMPETS![]()

Currently investigating:
- Why limpets are still unable to be purchased.
- Multiple issues with the SRV (one investigation to check for any capacity inconsistencies and another with scoop difficulties).

Like I said, on my i5-7500/1060 the freezes reappeared after Update 9. A lot of settlement configurations give me 30 FPS or less and sometimes multiple freezes when I just landed (not to mention my entire system is almost completely unresponsive as it somehow takes up 100% CPU). It can take up to a minute or more before the NPCs finally start moving and FPS goes up slightly again to ~40.I am not seeing the extreme freezes seen originally, by far. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Windows stored the shader caches in a completely different location. Deleting the files might force the game to rebuild them, but not much more than that.Deleting that folder forces the game to rebuild the shader caches on startup.
Bear in mind I'm getting almost 50 fps in a similar station to that in your screenshot on lower-grade hardware.
Old bug from yesterday at least. If you touch anything by wheel it will disappear - that includes cargo, rescue pods, materials - anything.vanish as if it's scooped,
Firstly, I don't think the visual fidelity warrants me going lower than the High preset. Secondly, since Update 8 switching everything to Low yields almost no improvement at all. Everything is pretty much CPU limited at the moment.Have you tried lowering the texture resolution? It could be that it's running out of vram and continually swapping between main and gpu.
Yeah this is my issue at this point. The game doesn't look nearly good enough to explain the performance. I have many vastly better looking games that have far more going on that work much better. Odyssey has very broken performance when it comes to structures and NPCs being present.Firstly, I don't think the visual fidelity warrants me going lower than the High preset. Greetings Commanders,
Post-Odyssey updates have reached double digits! In this round, we see a series of optimisation improvements and a large batch of fixes. At the time of this post (10:00 GMT/UTC), servers will go offline for approximately two hours while the update deploys.
Changes will come to both Odyssey and Horizons each listed in their own sections below. These will see some overlap in cases where certain changes are happening in both versions.
Odyssey
AI
- Deceased NPCs can be scanned once again at offline settlements.
- Hostile ships will once again appear as such on the radar
Settlements
- Deceased NPCs will no longer cover the reactor console, preventing interaction

Try to drive very precise and make sure you do 1st touch by scoop.
P.S. didn't check update -10 yet me self.
