So, if they have signed leases to move into new office space, and have declared that more attention is being put on SQ42 (to the point that they may have a sequel in the works in about five years), how hard do you really think they are pushing?

Also LOL at rewriting history.

"We know you initially ordered a mushroom pizza, but the chef made a poll, and 7% of the people sitting in the dining area voted for better pizzas because it wouldn't place a strain on waiting times. So the chef is now in Tuscany, training a pig to locate truffles for your pizza. The janitor has drawn a picture of a beverage you can buy while you wait. There's even a variant that comes with ice and a straw!"

Dementropy knows his stuff - and where to go to find the truffels.
In Norcia they feed the piglets with them - they are famous for that stuff.

Perhaps the most fascinating part of this most recent development is the fact that by any normal measure, this would have a very strong negative impact on the company. Yet in this case, I would genuinely be surprised if there was any meaningful financial repercussions for CIG. In fact, it may actually and up being beneficial to them.

Many people have been wondering who approved such a statement, how they could have possibly thought it was a good idea, how it must have been something off the cuff, not well thought out, tone deaf, and so on.

My take is that it absolutely was approved as is simply because CIG know they can get away with it, and may even come out even better in the long run. Developers, they are not, but PR and marketing...absolute geniuses. There is a niche and market for everything, and CIG has masterfully tapped into dom/sub masochist gaming niche.

Sure thing: they had 10 years to figure out that whatever manure they throw at people, they gobble up and ask for more.

Are you talking about my earlier leaks? It did not mention a Turbulent CM, but that Turbulent was helping to shape the roadmap (which they did, Jake mentions it when he did his first Roadmap post).

I am. And are you sure you did not say that? I am struggling to find the link to your exact quote but I was able to find the re-quote from golgot. Judging from your previous leaks, i'd suppose "new devs" mean Turbulent. So, where is this lando replacement?
