Essential Exhibit Animals Meta-Wishlist 3: And Possibly Final

  1. Ball python: Most common snake in EAZA zoos.
  2. Western bearded dragon: Second most common lizard in EAZA zoos, after green iguana.
  3. Red corn snake: Second most common snake in EAZA zoos after ball python.
  4. Eastern green mamba: Most common mamba in EAZA zoos, along with the black mamba.
  5. Leopard gecko: Most common gecko in EAZA zoos.
  6. Egyptian tortoise: Small and suitable for exhibits, as tortoises are quite pacey and need space. Also wouldn't require a new layout, the flat sandy desert design would be perfect.
  7. Yucatán snapping turtle: Recently accepted as a separate species, which makes it unique in my opinion.
  8. Spectacled cobra: Almost as many holdings in EAZA zoos as the king cobra. Also has building pieces in the game.
  9. Veiled chameleon: Most common chameleon in EAZA zoos by far, with over 200 holdings.
  10. Leopard slug: Very unique, large and beautiful species.
The Exhibit Animals I hope To See in the future:
  1. Green Anaconda (Although it can also adapt to an animal in a habitat)
  2. Emerald tree boa
  3. Burmese python
  4. Panther chameleon
  5. King cobra
  6. Gaboon viper
  7. Reticulated python
  8. Leopard tortoise
  9. Leopard gecko
This is my list and you guys are doing a wonderful job in this forum thank u very much
1. Panther chameleon
2. Giant leaf tailed gecko
3. Green basilisk
4. Emerald tree boa
5. King cobra
6. Thorny devil
7. Giant asian mantis
8. Hercules beetle
9. Blue poison frog
10. Chinese Giant Salamander
  • Tuatara
  • Alligator snapping turtle
  • Indian cobra
  • Pig-nosed turtle
  • Pacman frog
  • Hellbender
  • Veiled chameleon
  • Green anaconda
  • Sailfin lizard
  • Girdled lizard
All added to the Meta-Wishlist!

Just 4 species for me:

1. Axolotl
2. Leopard gecko
3. Chameleon (any)
4. King Cobra
Sadly, lists under 5 are against the rules of the thread. If you add just 1 more animal, then I will be able to add yours to the Meta-Wishlist.

Since Asian exhibit animals are so much ignored in PZ for some reason (except the leaf insect and the Indian forest scorpion), I've mainly chosen Asian species. Africa also needs some more exhibit species, so it gets the second most species on my list.

1. Burmese python (Python bivittatus)
2. Indian spectacled cobra (Naja naja)
3. Yellow-margined box turtle (Cuora flavomarginata) or any other Cuora species, they are a highly endangered genus of Asian turtles
4. Chinese crocodile lizard (Shinisaurus crocodilurus)
5. blue-spotted tree monitor (Varanus macraei)
6. Panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis)
7. Madagascar giant day gecko (Phelsuma grandis)
8. Ball python (Python regius): too common to ignore
9. Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum): too common to ignore
10. Central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps): too common to ignore

1. Panther chameleon

1st things 1st:
@random goat's thread of essential animals https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/new-20-essential-habitat-animals-meta-wishlist.582340/
@Spiderhawk's thread of essential aviary species https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/essential-aviary-animals.565435/
@yoav_r's thread of aquatics https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/25-aquatic-animal-meta-wishlist.591432/

Ok, here we go. The 3rd (possibly final, depending on what goes on in 2022 and 2023). Same as the last, y'all will be making y'alls lists of beautiful, amazing, cool, and weird animals.

Now, we for sure have 4 DLC left, plus possibly a free exhibit animal for the 3rd anniversary(?).

So, this'll be a bit different:
  1. Lists of 5-10 will be accepted. For more detail, see post.
  2. I will attempt to divide things again by type (snakes, lizards, etc.), but, if certain choices are taxonomically closely related and share a common name, I will put those together (if y'all put the species name, it'll really help). For more detail, see post.
  3. No birds (visit Spiderhawk's thread), no aquatics (visit Yoav_r's thread)
  4. Only certain exhibit mammals are accepted, for more detail, see post.
