You do sound upset. It's hard to even be upset about it anymore, its just sad and pathetic.

A company who allows a culture where its acceptable to use comms primarily to placate your audience rather than give them information. How many times can one company promise to communicate better with their customers then somehow communicate even worse than before?
Could one interpret the lack of communication as the game being on the rails again, and CMs out of firefighting mode?
What fun is that?Could one interpret the lack of communication as the game being on the rails again, and CMs out of firefighting mode?
That's how you lose the faith and trust of your users. How many times can one company promise to communicate better with their customers then somehow communicate even worse than before? Is there a world record FDev are going for? It's hard to even be upset about it anymore, its just sad and pathetic.
It´d be bad for the forum games..What fun is that?
You can do much better than that. Shape up kiddoSounds like more doooommmmm....?!
The most logical guess I`ve seen in the thread is that the team are in full blown crunch mode becuase the fecal matter is starting to hit the fan as the team realise the huge amount of work left to do to get a console release to happen in this financial year. If that were true, it could explain why Arf cant commit to communicating when other stuff is going to happen (which was the tone of the OP), becuase resources are beign diverted away from those planned events to focus on console work.Could one interpret the lack of communication as the game being on the rails again, and CMs out of firefighting mode?
That may have been a "mis-communication" judging from the recent "communications" from various places, where call of duty and playing with tanks etc, suddenly became extremely popularThat's how you lose the faith and trust of your users.
Very easy to lose, and even harder to earn back.
After the latest rumours of Fdev being sold, I'm a bit hoping it's true, especially if the buyer is someone who can take care of the game.
If it's 10cent, the game is doomed to oblivion.
Closing it down is taking care of it, I suppose...especially if the buyer is someone who can take care of the game
