This is the problem, they are such suckers for punishment. They literally can't quit.
I'd recommend SC over Elite for stability. ED crashes a lot more than SC does, at least for me.
Not sure that’s quite the same as a guy writhing over a non-functional NPC cursing the inventory system and the entire game while loudly welcoming death
At least when you log back into ED all your stuff is there, and mainly works. (So you can grind towards death-welcoming at your leisure
)(But I dunno. EDO never crashed for me in 40hrs ¯\(ツ)/¯)

Understood, but i hope we can express our best wishes towards anyone who is caught up in the current difficulties, and that includes any SC streamers.
I hope FD understands there are many people who are affected by this, and a desire to avoid politics on the forums should not preclude people wishing others the best, as long as we don't get into the realms of discussing the politics of it.

That's not what was being discussed. The problem is if 1 person goes off topic someone responds to it and it goes off track for a couple pages...or more. If you want to open a separate thread then that's fine as long as specific politics views are not added. Well wishes are of course perfectly fine.
