Currently in Odyssey we have a warning that states.
“Downloading is an illegal action”
And it triggers if you download something you shouldn’t.
and when this warning message pops up, it pushes the list of downloadable items “down” into a scrolling panel.
That and the change of the UI colour confuses “the player” (okay, me, I’m old and knackered)
During high stress scenarios.
This “warning” could be baked into the “download” button itself and no force the sloppy addition of an new entity into the scrolling panel altering their positions.
It is made clear that downloading “larmed” items sets of the alarm.
However I “feel” there has been instances when I was attacked by a near-by NPC “some of the time” for downloading none alarmed items (theft(?)) and sometimes they don’t care, is that based upon High/medium/low level System security?
