System: Gliese 868​
Station: Bacon Port (Coriolis starport, large pads available, 28 Ls from main star, 44.20 Ly from Sol)​
Objective: Hand in Bounty Vouchers for Gliese 868 Services and other Federal aligned factions​
Time limit: 24th March 3308 @ 06:00 UTC​

Description
Federal authorities have requested help in hunting down a notorious pirate gang in the Gliese 868 system.​

The call to arms was broadcast by the faction Gliese 868 Services:​
Recently, most Federal security services have been focused on dealing with political protests. This provided opportunities for criminals to cause havoc, by raiding trade convoys and committing piracy against ships throughout the region.

With the aid of Congressional funding, we have initiated a campaign to destroy all wanted vessels operating within our system. Independent pilots are requested to help us eliminate the threat that these criminals pose and claim the bounties placed on them.

Bounty vouchers can be redeemed at Bacon Port in Gliese 868. The campaign is expected to run until the 24th of March 3308.​

To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Bounty Vouchers at Bacon Port in Gliese 868. Only Bounty Vouchers handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total.​

Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your bounty vouchers will be automatically assigned to them. These bounty vouchers will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these bounty vouchers when they are handed in. The proportion of bounty vouchers assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.​
​
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.​
​
Notes:
  • The Gliese 868 system is controlled by Izumo Heavy Industries Ltd
  • All other Federal aligned faction bounties count towards this CG, i.e. Izumo Heavy Industries Ltd, LP 932-12 Dynamic Inc, Union of Gliese 868 Green Party, LFT 1 Confederacy & Gliese 868 Industries
  • Bacon Port is located at planet 2
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Interstellar Factors, Social Space

In September 2020 said they have planned a story unfolding over a 2 years period
That means the story is supposed to end sometime this autumn.

Fdev have the power to allow any Fed faction in the system To count as hand in..
Its a choice they have enabled in the past not just the announced faction...
The Players have had to work it out manualy by handing in the same power factions bounties one at a time...

They can enable Power bounties per System but they have not done so for a while...

If you have EDO the 5 settlements owned by Gliese 868 services Should also Have the option of Spawning some Pirate bounties..

Oof. Kill Warrant Scanner is REQUIRED if you want to hunt in Gliese 868! I did some HazRES there, and, well:

Can someone check on (space) installations and other systems maybe owned by Services? I'm technically at work.

My 1st thought: a BH CG, yaay! With HazRES in the same system!
My 1st thought after reading the thread: it's FD so there's a catch, how could I forget...

Quick note - it could be that all in system Fed aligned bounties will count given the description. I’m checking but if anyone fancies doing a test I can update the first post with more information on which bounties actually count here.

None of the other bounties count. Which is a shame because they all offer nice massacre missions to LP 932-12, even the CG faction. Catch is: The mission targets have bounties from all factions BUT the CG faction... ;)
