I approve of this tactic!
At 15 jumps, I would request a tow back.
Obscured jumps, SRV data link scanner not bound, too fast for orbital cruise and an exploded mothership on recall!
But in between all that I've managed to submit a regulation run and it even had a 0% landing.

Recon Loops... I like that. I did some of those as well. Question for the scrutineers: If I'm submitting a video, do you actually need to see my start and closing credit balance? You'd see if I tried a crafty refuel/repair. As a proud Yorkshireman, it pains me to reveal the contents of my wallet. Not as much as actually paying for something, of course, but still...
Today I managed to take a couple of minutes off yesterday's time, hampered by a large restricted zone that appeared as I trundled/bounced away from Cooper. Of course the damn ship decided the perfect landing spot was right in the middle of it, so I decided if I ignored the skimmers they'd ignore me. I'm still here, and I don't think I got shot at, so it must have worked.
Had some fun with Psykit on today's charity stream with racing corvettes 
First run started off great, then landing at Cooper and finding out I had installed the SRV bay but forgot to buy an SRV it, rather than aborting the run I went off and got a SRV and finished off the run with an explosive landing.

The following run was better however I fell behind on the SRV stage, will need to pick a better landing spot.

Here I was about to submit my run for tonight when I realized I forgot to add my ending credits. Oops. My editing skills aren't good enough to pull off anything tricky, but still.
I also did a run in Odyssey out of curiosity. I had heard people complain about the terrain generation but hadn't done much surface stuff in Odyssey yet so had to check it out.
It's not as fun. Instead of being nestled in some mountainous terrain, Cooper Arena is on a plain surrounded by rough terrain. I'm not sure if it's faster, but it certainly doesn't capture the excitement of the scene in the movie

I'm not sure if Slowdown or Outer Limits will be better for Unlimited.

Pretty much the same pattern this morning (except I've got that data link scanner bound now) - and what's really quite incredible is the run I managed to complete (incl. a 1% hull landing) had the exact same time (down to the second) as the run I submitted yesterday. What are the odds of that?!?!?
P.S. @Brother Sabathius I realise yesterday's submission didn't quite follow the exact set of screenshots as described. Hopefully it was OK but I have video if required later (I haven't bothered to submit today's identical run). Also - am I right in thinking the modules menu doesn't show the fuel tank size? I guess I'm not suggesting we change that, just a reminder to people in regulation class to make sure you have a 4C fuel tank fitted.

Since this potential loophole has been brought up, I have added this important item to the rules:
- Start from London Relay in Epsilon Indi with a fully fueled and repaired ship.
Ok was doing my first regulation run. I knew it would be slow but figured that the jumps will be near the same for everyone. Went quite well until I landed ready to roll that SRV across the plains doing great things. This however utterly completely failed to happen, take a look............
