Update 11.1 Patch Notes

I like the efficiency.
Ingame message say little, refer to the forum.
Forum link to the website (no duration for the downtime). Pretty much useless post
Website gives the patch note, and a 30m expected downtime
Twitter gives 15-30m downtime (instead of just 30), but no patch note, a link to the website instead


Copy and paste is ctrl + c -> ctrl + v on PC. No need to thank me. :p

I think a clue might be found at the bottom of the web page:

Ah, I like how the patch notes are on ED's website.
Slick and professional.

I believe Arf mentioned that the website will be utilized more going forward, and I suppose this is the first step in that direction.
 
I appreciate the increase in bartender capacity from 100 to 1000. However, with all due respect, the Bartender/Carrier should be treated as another "complete person" who has the same capacity as the commander. In my opinion, that would have been more ideal and "realistic" where the bartender is a personna agent working for an owner of a Fleet Carrier.

@Paul_Crowther so installed the patch and launched the game only to find I'm still missing an email from Kit Fowler and still don't have access to them even though I've sold the required 10 Opinion Polls to a bartender in a station.

Even tried a relog ... no change, still have no access to the engineer.
 
They increased the capacity of a 200m bartender facility on top of a 5bn FC from 10% to 33% of your backpack capacity.

Erm. Not.
Your backpack capacity is 55 items for a Maverick, or 110 for a modded Maverick
3000 is the capacity of your Ship's locker which is Quantum interlocked with Apex locker and SRV locker (thanks for that - no complains from me on this matter)

The Bartender is well, let's just say they had a really small bar and now they have a 10 times bigger bar
 
I imagine the trading and selling of materials that happens at the bar is on the "down low" .... you can't really do things under the table if the stuff can't be hidden under the table.

Just be glad you can buy a drink there....oh wait.
 
Speaking of the barkeep, can we get some behavioural limiters on them to drop the snark when they're speaking to the carrier owner? Mine's a ignorant git. "Please feel free to waste my time whenever you feel", indeed...

Well, guess that's one of the reasons i dont get to carry weapons inside my Carrier.
But i can still fire their face off and hire someone else.
(then relog 😂 )

They never said the fix would be applied retro-actively.
Well that's certainly true ... just like the requirement of 10 CZs for one of the engineers they failed to mention that have to be Low CZs as doing High ones doesn't count.

Perhaps they should try communicating information in a more clear and concise manner.
