What a pleasant surprise! Sometimes I wonder if Frontier doesn't slightly shift around their reveal schedule just to mess with all of our expectations.
Hot springs are an incredibly welcome addition. I was just making a macaque habitat last night and wishing we had them. Small burrows are great too, and I can't wait to see how they're implemented. Hopefully burrow support continues for the next few species that really should have it (foxes, warthogs, I wanna say there were at least one or two more).
Gotta say I don't really get the apparent hype regarding roaming educators. Maybe it's because I've never really used educators after the initial excitement wore off, and maybe this is intended to specifically counteract that. I guess I'll have a better feel for it once I can use them for myself. My big hope here is that this is just the next step towards giving us ambassador animals (such as our existing binturongs, snakes, and lizards) that educators can carry around and demonstrate.
The notion of another animal pack is very exciting (although expected), and if it's truly east/central Asia (the rice terraces mention seems weirdly arbitrary and specific)... I don't want to get my hopes too high but I think my avatar says it all. Even in the "worst" case with Asia, I think we're pretty much guaranteed to get a leopard, which has been the #1 most glaring roster omission in my eyes for some time now (inarguably at least since we got the African rhino, meerkat, and sea lions knocked out). Of course I'm more than willing to entertain this not being an Asian pack too... capybaras are also well known for their love of hot springs, after all. Regardless, I can't think of any potential outcome that wouldn't be exciting at this point. Can't wait for Monday's stream.
