If only there was the gameplay to go along with the nice shiney pictures.
Star Citizen feels like a Turner painted on bog roll.
If only...If only there was the gameplay to go along with the nice shiney pictures.
"Star Citizen feels like a Turner painted on bog roll."
What constitutes as gameplay loops is subjective but overall Star Citizen is not too different to EDO.
Space Post Man.
Bounty hunting NPC's, real players, on the ground or in space.
Cargo trading.
Mining, by ship, ground vehicle or hand.
Looting.
Crashsite recovery.
There are a dozen or so NPC mission givers with their own unique story missions.
There are several events:
Nine Tails Lockdown, Pirates take over a quadrant of the system and block all trade, its your job to smuggle supplies in, or search for the quantum jamming fleets and destroy them.
Jumptown, a drugs lab surface side, again you have to smuggle drugs out or stop others from doing it, this is real players.
Xeno Threat.A Terrorist organisation is trying to invade the Stanton System, the UEE Navy had a Javelin destroyer at a naval station, it needs supplying, your job is to protect incoming supply ships, take supplies from those that have been destroyed and fight the Xeno who come in in waves, once the Javelin is fully supplied it will come out and join you in a massive final battle.
If Star Citizen doesn't have any game loops then neither does EDO.
PS: That's a very drunk Jakkern babbling over the server channel in the background, i could listen to him babble random crap for hours.
