I like the drylands/forest/mountains set-up, with all animal packs. My ideas are as follows, with new rigs underlined.
Drylands (Summer 2022):
- Collared Peccary/Nine-Banded Armadillo/White-Nosed Coati (Americas)
- Dromedary Camel (MENA)
- Scimitar Oryx/Caracal (MENA)
- Przewalski's Horse (Asia)
- Maned Wolf (South America)
- Short-Beaked Echidna (Oceania)
- Emu (Oceania)
- (E) Frilled Lizard/Bearded Dragon (Oceania)
Forests (Autumn 2022):
- Red River Hog (Africa)
- Siamang (Asia)
- Matschie's Tree Kangaroo (Oceania)
- Sloth Bear (Asia)
- Golden Lion Tamarin/Linnaeus' Two-Toed Sloth (South America)
- Fossa (Africa)
- Tasmanian Devil (Oceania)
- (E) Tokay Gecko/King Cobra/Madagascar Day Gecko/Panther Chamelon/Indian Cobra (Asia/Africa)
Highlands (Winter 2022):
- Amur Leopard (Asia)
- Golden Takin (Asia)
- Andean Bear (South America)
- Hamadryas Baboon/Gelada Baboon (Africa)
- Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby (Oceania)
- Bighorn Sheep (North America)
- Patagonian Mara/Guanaco/Vicuña (South America)
- (E) Hellbender/Axolotl (North America)
I tried to keep in mind having a mix of species from around the world as well as choosing several "low-effort" picks on par with the cougar, dhole, and lechwe of previous packs.
In total, this would provide 3 North American animals, 5 South American animals, 6 from Africa, 9 from Asia, and 6 from Oceania -- a pretty even mix, though I admit the absence of European species is glaring.
