DLC Theme's Probable for PZ Year 3

I haven't posted here yet, but I've been thinking about this too. Here are my thoughts assuming that we are going to alternate between standard and animal packs and that we are not getting birds:

Summer 2022: Far East Pack (based on the Japanese tori gate that was supposedly leaked)

This is the Far East region map, so even if many people think that an Asia pack would fit better in winter, I think it's a good match for summer too:

Fall 2022: Oceania Animal Pack

Winter 2022: Canada Pack

This pack would be more focused on building pieces: horizontal log set, more stones, native art, totems...

These are such great ideas. I'd be thrilled with all these packs - at that point I could count the number of mammals I'd really miss on one hand. It doesn't fit in any of these of course but I do feel like we'll probably get the Red River Hog at some point, and I think a lot of us would still miss the Maned Wolf and an old World porcupine, but that's really about it for the animals I personally would consider priorities.

Lets be honest. Oceania pack alongside tropical are most hopium type packs out there. After 3 animals packs its clear that 4 animals with unique rigs and animations are maximum Frontier is willing to release.

Perentie or freshwater crocodile both seems like inevitable inclusions in such pack.

I like the drylands/forest/mountains set-up, with all animal packs. My ideas are as follows, with new rigs underlined.

Drylands (Summer 2022):
  • Collared Peccary/Nine-Banded Armadillo/White-Nosed Coati (Americas)
  • Dromedary Camel (MENA)
  • Scimitar Oryx/Caracal (MENA)
  • Przewalski's Horse (Asia)
  • Maned Wolf (South America)
  • Short-Beaked Echidna (Oceania)
  • Emu (Oceania)
  • (E) Frilled Lizard/Bearded Dragon (Oceania)
Forests (Autumn 2022):
  • Red River Hog (Africa)
  • Siamang (Asia)
  • Matschie's Tree Kangaroo (Oceania)
  • Sloth Bear (Asia)
  • Golden Lion Tamarin/Linnaeus' Two-Toed Sloth (South America)
  • Fossa (Africa)
  • Tasmanian Devil (Oceania)
  • (E) Tokay Gecko/King Cobra/Madagascar Day Gecko/Panther Chamelon/Indian Cobra (Asia/Africa)
Highlands (Winter 2022):
  • Amur Leopard (Asia)
  • Golden Takin (Asia)
  • Andean Bear (South America)
  • Hamadryas Baboon/Gelada Baboon (Africa)
  • Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby (Oceania)
  • Bighorn Sheep (North America)
  • Patagonian Mara/Guanaco/Vicuña (South America)
  • (E) Hellbender/Axolotl (North America)
I tried to keep in mind having a mix of species from around the world as well as choosing several "low-effort" picks on par with the cougar, dhole, and lechwe of previous packs.

In total, this would provide 3 North American animals, 5 South American animals, 6 from Africa, 9 from Asia, and 6 from Oceania -- a pretty even mix, though I admit the absence of European species is glaring.

Seeing as the summer dlc for both 2020 and 2021 had a dry, arid theme to them, I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened this year.

Desert Animal Pack:
  • Dromedary Camel
  • Honey Badger
  • Perentie
  • Darwin's Rhea
  • Caracal
  • Collared Peccary
  • Emu
  • Namaqua Chameleon (exhibit)
Or:

Grassland Animal Pack:
  • Przewalksi's Horse
  • Secretary Bird
  • Gerenuk
  • Saiga Antelope
  • Common Wombat
  • Aardwolf
  • African Crested Porcupine
  • Eastern Green Mamba (exhibit)

I think what will be the next dlc of the summer after in the last two years we got both Africa and a year before Australia so I think the dlc of the summer will be desert dlc and what do I think we could expect?

July 2022, Desert Dlc with scenery

African Crested Porcupine (flag animal)
emu
Nine-banded armadillo
Striped hyena or dromedary camel
Exhibit: veiled chameleon
And for scenery I think Mexican style
