Psh, doesn't look good enough. All it has is an assortment of superfluent game mechanics and gameplay loops.Helo games constantly put FD and CIG to shame with the amount and quality of their updates.

You won't play because you want the "released" and "bug free" tags. But SC is already a game by definition. Being released or not, good or bad, doesn't define if it's a game yet or not. A game is something you can play, nothing else. And for now, you can play it for hundred of hours like a lot of SC backers do.No, it's not a game yet, there's a difference between game play and an actual game, it's not a game, it's an Alpha, I won't play it until it's a released game, I might one day test the Alpha if it becomes stable enough to be worth my time, but I won't actually play it as a game, because it isn't. There's a big difference.
Showing short extracts of hours of players' video playing the alpha and do all I was saying to explain that you can't do those things in SC now... sure you can check it.Let's check in on some clips from the last 24hrs...
Cloth simulation and smuggling? Dogfights in atmospheres and wingmen NPCs?
Sandworms and VR?
Those swanky devils...

How many players exactly is that? Any latest figures on concurrency?you can play it for hundred of hours like a lot of SC backers do.
I even saw it once!Turns out, in the end, the worm was not a joke. It just appeared in a different game.

What's your definition of a "game" ? You confuse the "game" definition with the "released game" definition.it's not a game by definition
Star Citizen was released as an Early Access game in Alpha development 5 years ago, but I can more than understand wanting to wait until the proper launch of the game (post-beta, no server wipes, etc)No, it's not a game yet, there's a difference between game play and an actual game, it's not a game, it's an Alpha, I won't play it until it's a released game, I might one day test the Alpha if it becomes stable enough to be worth my time, but I won't actually play it as a game, because it isn't. "having to start over" >>> in all rogue games you have to start over at each session
"talking about bugs" >>> a lot of released games have bugs
"painful inventory system" >>> being easy to use doesn't define a game
Like it or not, the actual alpha of SC is a "game" by definition.
Everybody wonders. Then again, where is the 700 people working for SC. It's easy to count the dollares doubly when you have a network of dozens of companies to push cash and liabilities around.... Or where else could CR have received so much money from? ....
Let me introduce you to Store Citizen, aka playing with CCU chains and cash-shop purchases - it's Star Citizen's most-complete gameplay:So you are suggesting that SC is bought rather than actually played? Or where else could CR have received so much money from? I just had the vision of a "supporter bubble"...![]()
So Star Citizen is a roguelike with a purposefully painful interface and bugs being features? What's your definition of a "game" ? You confuse the "game" definition with the "released game" definition.
